"We stayed here during November, myself, my husband and our daughter. The garden apartment is beautifully positioned and equipped. It felt more like a villa. We had a few bbqs on the patio overlooking the peaceful harbour. Lovely comfortable beds and large wet/shower rooms. The golf buggy was a great way to get to the restaurants and beaches on the island and to the supermarket in the shopping precinct. Geda is a lovely lady who looks after the apartments as well as the guests, I recommend her delicious creole dinner she will prepare for you. She can also advise on some day trips to the other islands. The glass bottom boat that will collect you from your own pontoon and take you off to moyenne island stopping on the way for a snorkel and then a BBQ, and a walk round the small island, followed by a sunbathe and swim, before heading back to your apartment. Thank you Ronan and Geda for a lovely stay!"

  • Wonderful staff in a refreshing Oasis

"The Riad is surprisingly quiet and restful while steps from the door is the chaos of the markets. If you are looking to stay in Medina, the square and the old section of Marrakesh this is the ideal location. Walking distance to everything. Rooms are comfortable and decorated in traditional Moroccan decor. Daily breakfast was simple and delicious. What really makes this Riad a great experience is the staff: Aicha who is there daily to prepare breakfast and act as escort in the maze of the market - she is very sweet, hardworking and approachable. She accompanied us on several outings. Bidda who welcomed us with mint tea and a history of markets in his shop and also visited us in evening with a fabulous traditional Moroccan meal his wife prepared and Sif who was the driver waiting for us at the airport and also drove us to nearby areas. If you are looking for an authentic Moroccan experience replete with noise, bartering and cobras dancing to flutes this is the place for you. If you want to stay in a more contemporary environment, you may want to check out the "New Marrakesh" ."
