  • Daisy and Guilin are a perfect combination.

"We are so thankful to have connected with Daisy to help us plan our visit to Guilin. From the moment we were in contact, she did everything possible to meet our needs as a family and even accommodated our itinerary to stay within our budget. Our flight was cancelled twice, and Daisy went above and beyond to help us get to Guilin. Once we were in Guilin, we had the privilege to spend 3 travel days with Daisy, as she brought us to the Longhi Rice Paddy Fields, set up a Li River Cruise, brought us up Mount Yao, and guided us through Seven Star Park, among other things. She is a wealth of information, and she was great with our 3 kids (9,11, and 13). The accommodations in the Penthouse are excellent. The beds are very comfortable, which is rare for China. All necessary amenities are in the kitchen. The central heating unit in the main room kept the temperature comfortable for our family, and we were there in late December. If you want to visit Guilin and get the local perspective, I highly recommend that you stay here and ask Daisy to be your travel guide. She's wonderful!"

  • Three days in Shanghai 2017

"Laurent was the perfect host. We communicated by email before the trip and he promptly replied to all my questions. He was wonderful about accomodating an early check-in as we arrived in Shanghai earlier than expected. He also remembered that we needed extra bedding for the pull out sofa and had that prepared beforehand. His apartment was in the perfect location. Literally steps from Hengshan Road Station on Line 1, we traveled by subway to and from the Bund, Tian Zi Fang, and Xintiandi. We never took the taxi once and rode right to the apartment from Pudong International Airport and back via the Maglev. The neighborhood is lovely, quaint and quiet and is nearby to excellent restaurants and cafes as well as a Lawsons and a small grocery store across the street (that closes a little early but the Lawsons stays open late). We didn't really need anything though because Laurent provided us with complimentary refreshments, bottles of water, a larger bottle of water for tea and coffee, and snacks (which we are sad to say we had to leave behind untouched because of all the amazing meals we had during our stay). He also had fresh cut flowers on the table when we arrived. The apartment was clean, very well maintained and looks exactly like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable, the heater kept us warm, there were bathroom amenities, towels, hot water with excellent water pressure, as well as wifi and plenty of TV channels (Chinese and Foreign including HBO). It was perfect for our group of four women but it could easily accomodate five or up to six, as described. I will definitely be coming back and staying here again. I cannot recommend this wonderful apartment and its warm and inviting host Laurent enough. Thank you for a memorable trip. Cheers!"
