"Our stay at Villa Cemadik was the most relaxing four days we wished we had booked to stay longer. We were greeted by Made and staff with great big smiles very warm homely feelings which stayed with us throughout our stay. Nothing was to much trouble, so kind and attentive. One afternoon we had friends for afternoon tea and a swim, Made and staff made us a lovely carrot cake which he served with coffee, it was perfect. Villa Cemadik is spotless inside and out with picturesque surroundings that keep you captivated. We can't wait to come back with our family on our next trip to holiday in beautiful Ubud Bali. Many thanks Lesley and Stephen Rowe. Melbourne, Australia."

  • Beautiful secluded retreat in Padangbai

"This was just the thing we needed to get away from the resort scene and get some real R&R (rest and recuperation). We used the White house not just to spend lazy days relaxing by the cool pool but as a home base to explore nearby areas of Bali like the island Gili Trawangan (fast boats leave from Pandangbai). It's about an hour and a half from Ubud (via scooter, not recommended for those without experience or an adventurous heart). The home is well kept, air conditioned living/bedroom, a kitchen with the essentials: small refrigerator, cold/hot water to drink we used for our morning coffee or ramen style cup of noodles, and propane burners for cooking, though we took advantage of the many restaurants in town. There's also Wi-fi. The property is off the beaten path surrounded by banana trees in the hills above Padangbai. We rented a scooter to get around town. Made, the property manager on-site was very helpful, he helped us get fair prices to Gili island, scooter rental and his recommendation for finding a great tasting place for Luwak coffee was spot on. We really enjoyed our Bali stay at the White house."

  • Stunning view and staff

"This incredible villa is a very private oasis set in the hills overlooking Candidasa. The property is surrounded by a lush and beautiful garden that is walled off with a locking front gate. Two very large bedrooms, each with its own bath, are on the upper level, both with balconies, also with the incredible view. The kitchen, downstairs bath, and large living area with TV and stereo are also surrounded by windows to also enjoy the view. The infinity pool is private and refreshing-there is deck area for sitting in the sun, complete with overhead umbrellas to block the sun. Two staff members, Leonard and Ketut, arrive every day to clean up and arrange whatever you may need, from going into town, to eating out, to excursions or a ride to the airport. It's like being in your own private resort. We stayed during a particularly bad monsoon season, with driving winds and rain every day, and still had a fantastic time. We would love to visit again."

  • What an amazing place and wonderful team we've left part of our hearts in Bali.....

"We booked all 3 villas so we could share this beautiful place with friends. The villas are all beautiful! The grounds truly stunning lying by the pool was just Bliss! The Reef fascinating lots of fish to see for those who snorkel. The team of staff so wonderful Ayu and team so lovely, friendly and helpful the kids talk of them still! This is definitely a non touristy part of Bali which is stunning much to see and do if your prepared to travel away from the Villa a little. The group enjoyed visits to Coffee plantations, rice fields, water temples, Volcano cycle ride and a Boat trip over to the Gili Islands all thoroughly recommended. This place was incredibly special and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone thinking of staying were just looking for an excuse to return tho from the UK it's a Long Trip. We will be back tho Thankyou so much for sharing with us your wonderful Home. The Jackson, Cornwell & Boardman Families. UK"
