  • Wonderful Stay at Gion House Upper Level

"We had a wonderful stay at Gion House! My husband and two teen sons and I stayed in the Upper level for 5 days last week (August 2016). Junko and Saki took good care of us and had the AC running before we arrived as it was a very hot time in Japan during our trip. Junko sent us printable directions to give to our taxi driver upon our arrival and we had no problem getting to the house. Gion House is just as beautiful as we imagined, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. The house was well appointed and had everything we could possibly need. A highly detailed guest book answered all of our questions and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants, though Junko and Saki were available if we needed anything. The location could not be better. Away from all the tourists, but right in the heart of Gion and walking distance to many wonderful areas. We would stay again in a hearbeat!"

  • Review of Casa by an artist

"I love the spacious ramble of this house and garden, moving from indoors to outdoors. I like looking at the fish in the lotus ponds, cooling off in the pool, lounging in the sitting spots, eating on the veranda, sleeping in the big master bed room, waking to the volcanoes and rice fields. The house is full of art: paintings, old statues, marble floors, mosaic walls, carved wood, old Javanese furniture. And to make it all perfect, the staff made me laugh, looked after me to perfection."

  • Killer location, Lovely Landlord

"This flat could not be more perfectly located. Metres away from bustlig Emek Refaim, with it shops and restaurants and the wonderful Rakevet promenade which winds all the way to the Jerusalem Zoo in one direction, and a short walk away to the new Tachanah, with even more shops, restaurants, outdoor entertainment space and amusements for little ones. The landlord, Benyamin, is responsive, responsible, and ready and willing to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. The flat was clean and tidy, bright and airy, and is fully equipped with everything..."

  • My 3rd stay and planning my 4th, 5th....

"Doesn't get better than Ron & Shoshi's heavenly penthouse. My Israel trips are now planned around the availability of this rental! This apartment is a great choice for all travelers staying in Tel Aviv whether you're a first time tourist or you visit all the time. The location is excellent with the supersol supermarket across the street. There's numerous restaurants within a 2 minute walk and plenty that will deliver to your door. The beach is 5 minute walk and taxis/buses are all available upon leaving the building. But I promise that you'll never want to leave the peace and quite of the enormous wraparound balcony/private pool. I love the Nespresso coffee machine along with the milk frother. You'll make a better coffee in your private kitchen than any of the cafe's nearby. I can't stress enough what a luxury the water machine is. Hot and cold drinking water in seconds. The Wifi and my US mobile reception is stronger in the apt than my home or office in New York. The black out curtains will have you sleeping better than any hotel nearby! You'll also never get a better sunset view than from the balcony. But as always it is the care of your hosts Ron and Shoshi that keep repeat travelers like myself staying again and again!"
