  • Paradise on Bang Por Beach

"The description of this property does it full justice. The beach is just an easy walk away through the tropical gardens of the Coconut Laguna Resort. During high tide the beach is practically non existent as the water reaches up to the edge of the resort. This, however, is true for all properties on Bang Por Beach. If being on the beach all day is amust for you this has to be considered. The house itself has everything two couples or a family with two or three kids need for a happy holiday. It was a special treat for us to have the private pool directly adjacent to the living quarters, what a luxury to take a swim before breakfast without having to leave the house. Especially as we has some bad weather during the first week of our stay and the pool made it easy to stay at home. The owners Anca and Michel were ever so helpful with all questions and minor issues we had and answered immediately. The cleaning service was immaculate and very kind. The house is located away from the hustle and bustle from Chaweng, Lamai and Bhoput and ideal for a relaxing stay. There are a couple of basic eating places nearby. We personally enjoyed to eat at a little place which had several bamboo huts directly on the beach. Their food was basic Thai, affordable, good and the location very romantic. The rstaurant across the road was very good too, however, we found the location a bit drab and preferred to eat on the beach. We cannot recommend the house to anybody who has a walking handicap as the living quarters can only be reached via a steep staircase, the same could be true for very small chuldren who might fall down the stairs. What we noted is, that it is sometimes difficult to communicate with the people in the resort (and outside) as their knowledge of English is very basic. We surely can recommend this house and will return should we come back to Samui. Thank you Anca and Michel for your kindness and help during our stay"

  • Lulu Villa is amazing

"WOW. When in your life will you be able to say you lived in a private villa in Koh Samui, completely surrounded by banana plantations with a sea view and with a private water slide! This place is everything it is advertised as, the rooms are stunning, three of the bathrooms have jacuzzi's overlooking the magnificent view, of the other three bedrooms, two had ensuite bathrooms and one bathroom outside. The pool table was constantly in use and the water slide definitely got used everyday we were staying there! You wouldn't believe how fast it goes - its definitely an adrenalin rush! Phyo and Thuthu who greeted us was extremely polite and referred within a manual to places to eat, rent mopeds and left us at ease with everything. We only ate at the villa once which I regret because the food was probably one of the best meals I had in my two week stay in Thailand: Massaman Beef and Chicken/Hokkien noodles - perfect! Location wise, its a bit further away then Mae Nam but with the amount of people that you'd rent this villa with, the price per head to get around was never more than 100 baht in a tuk tuk/van.(around $4AUD.) If you have the opportunity to stay in Koh Samui with a big group of family and friends, I could not recommend this more. It is only a small amount of people who will be able to experience this! There's also a mini bar so if you need a drink/snack you're covered and it comes out of the deposit. There was a problem with the WIFI to begin with but Chris fixed it really quickly: it was pretty good strength house wide but best on 2nd floor. I won't upload photos because everything is as it appears. Thank you Chris!"

  • We had a wonderful stay in Phannita's 2 bedroom house. We found it super clean and we felt like at

"We had a wonderful stay in Phannita's 2 bedroom house. We found it super clean and we felt like at home. Phannita and her husband are super welcoming hosts, who were ready to help us and to give us some advice whenever we needed. We could recommend this place to everyone! It's close to the beach and it's in a safe neighbourhood. Thank you from all of us! Koh Samui and the 2 bedroom house were the best part of our holiday in Thailand!"
