Yorktown beach rentals

The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! Our family of six (including four teenage boys) stayed comfortably at the house. It felt like borrowing a friend's well-stocked vacation home. Plenty of kitchen gear and dishes for cooking (which we used several nights). Things to consider: to access the Gloucester Point area, you must cross a draw bridge. It is a cool bridge to cross, but every time you go into Gloucester, you must pay a 2 toll. Also, you can be delayed if a ship is crossing. We had to wait 15-20 minutes one morning on our way to Williamsburg. Also, the property is well-decorated and cozy, but not brand new, and has a few quirks. We had some small ants in the kitchen, but the hosts had some bait traps out. Overall, I would highly recommend this unique stay if you are coming to the area!

I read through the reviews before booking and I have to agree with the previous guests - This place was clean, comfortable & beautiful furnishings (especially the bed!) & had all the things we needed for a wonderful 2 night stay. The location was great. We enjoyed a meal at the golf course pub as well as at the marina. Would definitely book this condo again on next visit to Williamsburg.

Sunrise breakfast on the enclosed porch and wine down on the deck in the evening. Plenty of bird watching, especially a bald eagle that patrols the shoreline regularly. Enjoy a peaceful quiet out of the way setting while the Jamestown ferry's ( 5 min. drive/ free) drive on drive off access makes it easy to get to Virginia's Historic Triangle (Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown). Take a day trip to Virginia Beach (1 1/2 hr.) and don't miss Norfolk's downtown Waterside District. The house is very clean and well stocked. The owners are great and easy to access if needed. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return again soon.

We had a splendid stay in this beautiful waterfront property. The house and everything in it are super clean. The attention of the host to details to make it comfortable is simply amazing. The owner responded to communications promptly and provided helpful information about places and restaurants to visit. We enthusiastically recommend this home to everyone.

My husband, myself and our daughter enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home so much! It's by far the most updated, modern, well decorated, vacation home we've ever stayed in. Our daughter (7 years old) enjoyed playing at the little beach area and walking on the dock. The views are spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and even though 2 of those days came with heavy rain, we still enjoyed being cozied up in this charming house listening to the rain. We had two really nice days where we played near the water, had dinner on the deck and enjoyed the hot tub. I honestly can't say enough good things about this property. It's very reasonably priced and you just can't beat the views or the location. There are huge windows in the house upstairs and downstairs. We enjoyed our tea on the side deck (that looks directly out over the water) in the mornings. We were so close to town, where there are plenty of good restaurants. We visited Williamsburg one day and Jamestown on the last day. Shannon has decorated this home so beautifully and it had everything we needed. If you're looking for a wonderful stay, this little slice of heaven can't be beat. You wont be sorry you booked it, that's for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We were fortunate enough to spend a few nights at Bee Haven. Its a charming property and we highly recommend it. We ventured to Williamsburg from here and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this property and Shannon is a 5 star host. Also, have to give a shout out to the Nuttall Country Store which is about a mile from the home. This is a must stop for anything you might need.

Was nice to get up early and sit on the deck and listen to nature and the view was beautiful very clean resort. Had so much to do at the resort you could spend the resort itself. Had lunch at Eagles was very good. Wish I had time to do a little golfing maybe next trip.
