Ponderosa cabin rentals

We came from Minnesota to stay at this house (a surprise anniversary gift from my husband). The house is very rustic, and cozy. We did a lot in the sequoia and king national park and loved the hiking and sight seeing, it was a 2-3 hour drive to the national parks from the house. So we only used the house to sleep and eat at. The drive to the house is super windy in the mountain but had amazing views. We loved playing the games provided in the house. The house was well equipped with things you need for cooking. But for future guests bring your own coffee, and spices nothing was provided for that. I loved the antique oven in there, that was so cool.

Casa Pondo has exceeded my expectations. Everything you would want from a mountain cabin is provided in this cabin. Just bring yourself, food and drinks and you are set. The charming house boasts loads of comforts inside and out and looks just as the photographs in the listings. I will be returning in the future for sure. It is a perfect place to unwind, enjoy hiking around the house and nearby trails.

Loved staying in this cabin for a couple nights. The wood burning stove was very nice. Plenty of space for the 5 of us who stayed. There are some nice nearby trails to hike on as well.

My wife, 10 year old daughter and I spent an extended weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday in this beautifully appointed cabin. For such a remote location, we had every creature comfort and when not out hiking the Trail of 100 Giants (about 15 minutes away) and other hiking adventures, we spent quality time ready, playing board games and availing ourselves of the pool table, air hockey, darts and ping pong in the game room. Chris was absolutely amazing to communicate with, answering questions via VRBO messaging promptly and with attention to all the right details. We’ll definitely come back again!

We had a great time staying at this property. Its located in a great location. Close enough to allow easy access to the area. Close to the entrance of Yosemite and close enough to Oakhurst. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed over spring break. This year we reached the tail end of the snow. The owners made sure the driveway was plowed so we could get in and out around without problems. There is plenty to do if you get snowed in. We brought our four legged family members and they loved the cabin as well. The road makes a loop if you stay here and has a short walk around the mill pond which we enjoyed our daily walks around. The only thing visitors will have to worry about is to make sure you download your directions while you are at oakhurst as there is no cell service until you get on the wifi at the cabin. Its truly a beautiful property and management is quick to respond to questions or your needs. We dont get to this area very often but we will definitely stay here again next time.
