Bass Lake cabin rentals

We had a wonderful time at this house.Lots of room and very comfortable.The large family room/ kitchen/ dining area was a great gathering place for us all. We all enjoyed our 4th of July week .

Great house with a great location on Bass Lake. We met as a family for Thanksgiving and picked this location due to its proximity to Yosemite. It is is about a 20 minute drive to the South entrance and about another 45-60 minutes to the valley floor. The South entrance has great views and pullouts to see along the way of all the big attractions (El Capitan, Half Dome and two of the waterfalls). It was a great location for what wanted. The house is just a few blocks from the center of town where there is a resort, a market, and a few shops. Very easy to walk to restaurants, coffee, the marina, etc.) We stayed when the lake had already been lowered 50% (occurs ever November for PGE power production and to allow for winter runoff.) We were aware of this from the listing so no surprises for us. The house is on one of the coves so do not expect water by the private dock or directly in front of the deck. Even though the lake level was low, there were still nice views of the lake looking to the left. I'm sure the views are absolutely gorgeous in the summer! The house is exceptionally stocked with most everything you would need. I packed all sorts of Ziplock baggies, foil, glad wrap, parchment paper, knives, spices, coffee, and some specialty items for cooking Thanksgiving. They surprisingly had everything I had packed which is not the norm for short term rentals. They even had a meat thermometer and turkey baster! This is a great house and we would stay here again.

Every other year my family has a reunion at Bass Lake. This is the third year that we have rented this home and we will probably rent it again next time. It is a wonderful home for a large group. There are seven bedrooms one of which is a bunk room with four beds. Plenty of room for a large group like ours. They have added air conditioning units to many of the rooms which was great. It would have been nice to have one or two units in the connected two bedroom suite which can get a little warm but otherwise everything inside the house was great. We love to hang out on the big front deck which is big enough for us all to sit down together for dinners. And it is a short walk to the dock where we spent most of our time hanging out. Nikki the host was wonderful and very responsive to messages I sent. All in all, a great rental for a large group.

The Reid home was perfect for our family and friend getaway, and we can’t wait to book another stay. We highly recommend this home for multiple families, especially groups with children. The home has been completely remodeled and the attention to detail and the craftsmanship is amazing. It is comfortable for large groups and has a loft with crafts and games for kids. There’s a bunk room that our kids loved. They could all be together comfortably. The house is just a few minute walk to the lake. The property is part of a community that has a private white sand beach. There are beach chairs provided along with a table and chairs at the waters edge to dine al fresco. The house includes a private covered dock which is a huge convenience. Michelle was the host and she was so quick to respond to any question we had. We didn’t need much, though, because the house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. All appliances worked perfectly. It was such a nice, comfortable home to come back to after a long and hot day on the lake. The kids especially loved roasting marshmallows and making s’mores on the outdoor fire pit in the evening. The adults especially loved enjoying coffee on the front porch lounge area under the trees in the mornings. Thank you, Michelle and the Reid Family! Your home is gorgeous!

This cabin was a home run for my family of 6. First the owners of the cabin are extremely engaged and easy to contact. They contacted me early with instructions to make check in a breeze and answered my every question quickly. The home itself is gorgeous and VERY clean. You can see they care about the home by the attention to details inside the cabin. They have enough decorations to make it feel quint and homey without overdoing it. Particularly the light over the dinner tale is quite impressive. The bedroom layout was nice with primarily one bedroom per floor so each group could unwind in the evening hours with a little privacy. The group staying in the Master Bathroom was quite happy as the shower there is quite nice. The outdoor space was nice with a fire pit and seating area. It was nice to sit there in the morning before adventuring and sip some coffee. There is wildlife in the area that we were able to see from the balcony at times. The home is near all you need (grocery stores, restaurants, gas, etc.). It was part of a very nice neighborhood, but still felt remote as I never heard any neighbors. It is located in Bass Lake, and about 30 minutes from Yosemite entrance. getting to and from the park is quite easy (so long as you go early as lines backed up in the morning). My only regret is I should of stayed a few more days and explored the lake. I will be staying here again and recommending to my friends. What a wonderful experience.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Lakefront Luxury home at Bass Lake! The home and dock are perfectly located in the quiet cove with easy access to town and the open lake. We enjoyed boating, tubing, and just floating on the lake. Being able to come back to the cool, clean house with its well stocked kitchen made it even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
