Chautauqua Park cabin rentals

Booked a holiday trip for myself. The Chaled was perfect as a solo traveler or a couple. Very clean, quiet, and stylish. Loved that I could head down to the Betasso Preserve for trail running. You’re only about 15 minutes down the canyon to Boulder. Well maintained winter roads. I would book again!

The location of the property was perfect for us - close proximity to Boulder while being far enough to be peaceful, quiet, and without much light pollution at night (great for stargazing and photography). Wildlife visits every day/night - turkeys, hummingbirds, and a family of deer slept just below the back deck one night. The place could use a couple of upgrades, but it was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. A great home base for excursions into Boulder, Rocky Mt Park, and surrounding hiking areas. Boulderhaus is a great spot, easily accessible from downtown Boulder. We have been traveling to Boulder a lot over the last four years and this is the first time we have stayed outside of the city proper. We had originally rented for Thanksgiving weekend last year but my husband needed emergency surgery, forcing us to cancel our stay just days before our rental began. Larry kindly allowed us to change our dates. We are thrilled to be here in time for the Boulder Film Festival while relishing this quiet retreat among the trees during down hours. My husband has been working from the third floor desk which is the equivalent of a nice tree house. If you need to relax while being productive, this is the place to do it. Many of the reviews note the number of stairs which made me slightly concerned about what we would find. I had to laugh when I actually saw them. Yes, there are stairs as this is a multi-level house and you enter on the ground level. To the right and outside of the house, there are stone steps to two lovely patio areas and the hottub. To the left of the house, there are also stairs that could be hazardous to some but there is absolutely no need to take them. Access is easy without going close to the road. The house is well -equipped for any type of cooking you might enjoy. There is even a tap system installed. Hopefully, our family will gather here for future holidays and enjoy the many comforts Boulderhaus has to offer. It will be a pleasure to return.

We enjoyed this cozy cabin with great access to parks, trails, Golden and the Denver area.while in the area for a concert at Fiddlers. The cabin had all the necessities, was clean, and easily became ‘home’ away from home. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. Got some good hiking in both at Boulder and Golden. Enjoyed lunch at the Last Chance tavern and the cinnamon rolls from the coffee shop.

Could not have asked for a better stay. Small cabin but perfect size for my boyfriend and I. Also a perfect distance from Boulder, Denver, and ski resort while still being remote. Will definitely stay again if ever in CO and recommend to couples!
