Monarch cabin rentals

This cozy, welcoming cabin was the perfect place to stay! It had everything we could possibly need for our long weekend of skiing/snowboarding and was close to everything. Ten minutes to downtown Salida (only five minutes to Walmart), and only fifteen minutes to Monarch. Marilyn was wonderful about answering all our questions and provided clear instructions. The place was warm and so comfortable. We had a great time!

The cabin is beautifully built in a lovely location within the ranch with views of the mountains and pastures in the area. Additionally, its location is perfect for spending the day exploring the area, hitting monarch mountain, or a day in Salida. Moreover, the hosts were very responsive and lovely people. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to slend time in the region.

We rented both Cabins A&B which was great for our three kids to have their space and my husband and I to have our space. We went to Monarch each day and the location for the cabin was superb for that. We were close enough to town to visit the city and local restaurants as well. And the cabins sit right off the main road

Absolutely loved the cabin and the property. Everything was clean, easy to find and use, plenty of amenities. Whole family and pup loved it, especially the porch with the hummingbirds! Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay! Things to know that might benefit future renters: bring your own shampoo and conditioner, and in the winter at least, be prepared to pay the neighbor $10/car/night for parking. After getting our 4WD vehicle stuck twice in the spot in front of the house, we were willing to pay just about anything to avoid that again.

This cabin was just right for a weekend with my husband. Love the location, beautiful views, deer in the area. Cabin has everything you need and then some. Furniture is comfy, kitchen well-stocked, plenty of towels for showers and the hot tub. So close to Monarch and Salida—best of both worlds! Leona is a wonderful host. We wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else.

Our stay was amazing. The house is simply lovely... perfectly clean and well-stocked (we cooked Thanksgiving dinner and there was no tool, pan or dish we 'wished' we had that we didn't find in the kitchen). The owners have thought of everything a guest could want or need. There were 3 of us...My spouse and me, as well as his daughter (in her twenties) and the layout was wonderful. Also,the property is amazing...so very beautiful and truly away from any other people or noise. We had 2 sunny days and then 2 days of snow ... perfection! We plan to go back this summer!

The Ranch was a perfect getaway for my family. The hit for the adults was the craftsmanship of the log cabin and the gorgeous mountain panoramic view. For my grandchildren, the hit was the horses and cows😀. Dean was kind and very accommodating.
