Dolores cabin rentals

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin in Dolores, Co and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests. The interior is cozy and well-appointed, with all the amenities you could need while still maintaining a rustic charm.The living area is spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or skiing. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms are warm and inviting, ensuring a good night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot tub, where you can soak and enjoy the stunning scenery.I highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful and picturesque getaway

Quiet and peaceful little cabin. Located on working cattle ranch with nice views. Great place to sit back and relax.

My wife and I stayed here in June of 2024 with our two children and two dogs while we visited Mesa Verde National Park. It was only 15 minutes to the park entrance so it is a perfect home-base if you're visiting the area. The property was PERFECT for our family and such a cute tiny home. With the two adults, two kids and two full sized dogs we thought space might be an issues, but there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The kids loved the ladder to climb to the loft bed as well!

The cabin was perfect for my spouse, 17 yo daughter and dog. I loved reading next to the river and having space for my dog to play. The garage door wall of the kitchen opened up the space more and was great having all the fresh air. Kitchen was just right, the bedrooms and beds comfy too! We came up for a wedding and to detress without the fuss and this was a perfect spot. Town was a couple minutes away. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

So many VRBO listings go to great lengths to photograph the property to maximize its appeal-rather like those shots of RV’s or boats which make the accommodation look so much more spacious and appealing. This often leads to disappointment. Not so, this property. Airy, spacious, studio-type modern cabin set in acres of Ponderosa forest. Quiet, serene. Comfortable Tempurpedic style bed. Good washer/dryer. Good kitchen, gas range. Ample counter space. Caveats: needs steak knives, a cooking knife set, a colander, a salad spinner (these may not be an issue unless like us, you like to cook your own meals). Could use better bedside lamp. Needs more lamps. We’d like to return and stay longer. Ideal location to access Mesa Verde and Canyon of the Ancients national park/monuments, and so much more.

This A frame house is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. I honestly wish we spent more time there. It’s decorated beautifully and is kept up so well. Super clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was the icing on the cake. We stayed here so we could go to Mesa Verde and it was the perfect location to do so. It’s also close to town. I totally recommend staying here.

This was a beautiful property. My kids of age 3 and 16 enjoyed it to the fullest. We all Enjoyed being outdoors and visiting mesa verde. Only thing was that it was very remote. The drive in was a bit of a challenge. But over all it was an amazing stay.

Beautiful area! On the river in mountains yet close enough to Dolores, Cortez, Durango and Telluride. The Dolores Market is a small grocery store in town but has everything you will need. Coming from South Texas we love good Mexican food and it is hard to find when traveling but MITequila in Dolores was very good. Taking the drive to visit and shop Telluride, Ouray then Silverton was amazing. The house has all amenities plus more than we expected. Very well equipped. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of linens. We did travel with our beagles and there is a dog sitter we found in Dolores on Rover.com named Ashley for the time we couldn’t have them come to our activities. She was great!!
