Houghton Lake cabin rentals

This was our first time renting on VRBO. We met friends who had rented another cabin with the same host and we rented this one with two bedrooms. We had two adults and 4 kids between us in this cabin. It is beautifully updated and modern, the AC is nice and cool (such a nice treat when you've been in the sun all day). The whole property is so clean and nice. The host has both bath towels AND beach towels onsite, I thought that was so helpful! The rec room was a real treat, and we didn't realize how stocked it would be. They've got blocks, cars, craft supplies, coloring books, outdoor games, fishing poles, kayaks. It looks empty in the picture, but there was a lot to keep kids occupied if it rains or they need a break from the sun! Several bonfire pits, a gas fire table, I could go on and on. The kids had so much fun they hardly slept. We'll likely make this a yearly tradition for our family!

We had a great time in Houghton Lake. Cabin is cuter and more accommodating than the online pictures showed.

This property was so cute! Perfect for 5 of us that did come. She was kind enough to allow 3 dogs and there was plenty of room. Will be back!
