Adirondack cabin rentals

My wife and I (and our black lab, Miles) had an adventurous and peaceful time at the Black Pine Cabin. Aside being a little hampered from rain a couple of days, we were able to squeeze in some hiking and took my Jeep down Crane Pond Rd. to visit my childhood campsite. Jesse was a great host. We’ll be back!

Wonderful, quiet location

Being from Florida we didn't expect 40 degree weather in September, but we managed. Property managers could not do enough for us.

First time in lake George and the nationals being the same weekend was a bonus it was great!

The area, location, cabin was awesome. Susan was an amazing host!. Looking forward to staying again. Highly recommended.

We just loved this cabin! Very clean and lovely, everything you'd need is available. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Stargazing from the dock was amazing and the firepit is so close and handy from the cabin. Having kayaks at our disposal was a wonderful perk as well. I must say, my new favorite bird call is the loon. We heard them every night and morning, they sound forlorn yet beautiful. A pair of them seemed to follow us around in our kayaks. Wonderful experience! The welcome book that Angela and John provided is very helpful and informative. A "must eat at" restaurant is the Owl at Twilight.

Our 3rd time staying at the cabin was as always wonderful. Everything we needed for a perfect getaway for two. We will certainly be going back.

What a beautiful place to stay! We loved everything about the colorful & comfortable “Bossie” cabin, from its mountaintop view (fabulous location) to all the thoughtful amenities inside (like lots of hooks on the walls for hanging clothes — so practical!) The cabin was very clean & well-stocked; it had good pans, dishes, silverware, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. — the only things not provided that we needed were a dish towel, a hand towel in bathroom or any wash cloths in the bathroom, but the hosts provided good-quality bath towels, so we used those for drying our hands in the bathroom and luckily we brought our own dish towel so we had one. If you’re planning to stay here, maybe bring a few washcloths & hand towels. Not a big deal for us — especially since everything else was so perfect! The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and we loved every minute we spent here. It was warm during our stay, but we were able to open up the windows (excellent screens, so no bugs got in!) and get a cool breeze. There’s also a ceiling fan over the main bed, which helped cool the cabin. The reading nook/alcove is a wonderful bonus! We had some rainy weather, too, and it was so relaxing to sit in the comfy reading nook and hear the rain on the metal roof. We were very grateful that the cabin is dog-friendly; I walked my dog down the gravel/sand road every day. The other cabins are nearby but sit enough apart that you get good privacy. We loved staying here & highly recommend it!
