The Catskills cabin rentals

We had a wonderful 2 month stay in this private oasis. Cabin in very good condition and David the owner made sure Everything was just right. Surrounded by nature and close to Phoenicia Near hiking trails and short drive to Woodstock and Kingston.

This was our first stay in a yurt, but it won't be our last. It was the perfect getaway. The berries, yogurt, and granola made a great parfait on the first morning. The views both day and night were fantastic. We had a fire each night, roasting s'mores and enjoying the stars in the night sky. Probably the best part was listening the the rainfall on the roof. We definitely plan on returning.

Wonderful stay! Calm and quiet that we needed. Host was very friendly and accomodating.

A great stay. Cabin was clean as a whistle. First time staying in the summer. Nice to open the windows and listen to the stream at night. Short drive to Woodstock and Phonecia for dinner. Did some great hiking at Bellayre and Ashokan.

This is a wonderful property. Clean, wonderful host, perfectly set right on the river. There are also so many conveniences included.

First, everything about the cabin met our expectations. It was clean, smelled delicious and equipped with everything we needed. We used the oven to cook pizza, toaster, coffee maker and all worked perfectly. The only thing that I would say is if you are planning to go into Cooperstown - it is quite a drive - especially at night. The roads are windy and there are zero street lights. We traveled for a tournament and it was about 30-40 minutes each way from the fields and any restaurants. So be prepared. Other than that, cabin is pure perfection. If I had known there was a propane grill I would have brought food up to BBQ. The loft bed was way more comfortable than main bedroom. The bed in the main definitely needs to be replaced. Still 5 stars IMO because there was an alternate room for us to sleep in. Dont hesitate on this one. Book today.

The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house was immaculate and well appointed. One caveat I have is after the cleaning fee and tax the price of the stay is double. Another cost which I’ve never encountered was I had to either buy insurance for $99 or put a $5000 deposit down. This is unreasonable in my opinion especially for short stays. I opted for the $5000 deposit then had to pursue its refund as Vrbo didn’t want to return it until the end of the month, about 3 weeks after my stay. I ended up incurring a large finance charge from my credit card. So, all in all, my stay ended up being exorbitantly expensive.
