Lake Flower cabin rentals

This is our third visit to Starboard Point. We return because it has become our family tradition and it is idilic. Our children (19 & 17) love having a boat to go on adventures or going to town to get ice cream. Our son loves having his own cabin (where the bathroom is located) and we stay with our daughter in the main house (where the kitchen and living room are located). There is so much to do, exploring the lakes through the locks, fishing, enjoying time together at the fire pits, etc. However Norman, our six year old Lab is the happiest of all our Clan. In and out of the lake, fetching for hours on end a tennis ball, and waking up with mom (me) to watch the sunrise each morning. When he realizes we are going to Shelly's Starboard Point his excitement is literally uncontrollable -- he is so happy! It is "glamping" but looking at the remarkable nighttime galaxy, sitting by the fires, and having quality time with the family is heaven on earth is absolutely worth it! Starboard Point is a traditional Adorondack camp and I can't wait to get back.

We had the best time at this cottage!! It was plenty spacious enough for our extended family (6 adults and a 2 year old). Everything was as expected from the listing. My toddler loved playing in the lake, the shallow sandy beach was perfect for him to splash around and jump in off the dock. Also having the huge yard space to run around and play games was great for both the toddler and the dog. The cottage was stocked with everything we could've needed and made our life so easy for the week (the laundry was a huge plus!) We would definitely stay here again, we all had the best time being able to take this trip together as a family!

Hospitality was beyond expectations from cleanliness to great conversations with Jim and Pam. They were very accommodating, and even got us outdoor seating with water view at a very great restaurant- The Black Bear. The Bears Den park-like setting is absolutely stunning with plethora of beautiful landscaping. I enjoyed coffee with relaxing on the hammock listening to the nature surrounding. I highly recommend and I can't wait to go back!
