Highlands cabin rentals

We loved the house as a couple with 3 dogs. House was well appointed, each bedroom had king bed and private bath, kitchen was well furnished with nice appliances, combined living and eating area with large table that could easily seat 6 and comfortable furniture in living area. Location and yard were special. Fenced yard was great for the dogs. Easy walk to town and local restaurants. Great walking area, relatively flat in a nice neighborhood around Harris Lake. The house is a little small for more than one couple

We absolutely LOVED our stay in Highlands. This was our first time here and our stay was perfect! We loved the location (close to downtown). Enjoyed getting out daily to hike and see all the beautiful waterfalls then came home and enjoyed a fire in the cabin. Beds were extremely comfortable and the owners are wonderful! Great communication throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will certainly be back!

The home, grounds and location were all superb. We could easily cook, play games and relax. Plenty of space for everyone! The management were very attentive to all of our needs.

We recently had a fabulous stay at the Mill House. The house has so much character and charm. We call it "rustic mountain chic". There are a variety of spaces inside and out to enjoy the refreshing mountain weather and beauty. The house is at the Mirror Lake dam and Cullasaja River. The water noise from the dam and stream is like a beautiful constant white noise. The home has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. Initially we were concerned about possible road noise but the background of the rushing water completely masks any minimal road noise. Our biggest daily dilemma was which space inside and outside to sit and enjoy! This is a lovely home and well suited for small or large groups. We highly recommend Mill House!
