  • Loved this vacation spot!

"What a great two week vacation we just had in this cottage at La Casa Resort. I'm still bragging and talking about it with all our friends and family. Thank you John for all the details you've taken care of in the cottage. You have thought of everything in the cottage. The showers were my most pleasant surprise. They were wonderful. Better then ours at home. The views from the deck were amazing! We had great weather while we were there, so that helps with the overall experience. High 20s to 30 degrees everyday except for two days. Well worth the lake view to choose this cottage over some others at La Casa that may not have a lake view. The cottage was a reasonable walking distance from the amenities building and the pools, tennis courts, store and mini golf, (although it would be nice if there was a crosswalk across Westside Road). We spent half of our days with our 7 and 9 year old at the pool and the other half on the lake. Although the cottage was a ways from the beach and marina, (a long walk), we only spent one day at the beach and aqua park. The kids enjoyed it, but you have to get there early to get a good beach chair and some beach space. We have a boat, so we mostly spent our time on the lake doing water sports. We'd drive down to the marina from the cottage. We found the boat slip process a little tricky to navigate, but once we figured it out we were good to go. Oh and the boat launch is quite narrow and next to some rocks, so if you plan to put a boat in the water make sure you are an experienced boat launcher. Everyone we encountered at the resort was very friendly, especially the resort staff. We would highly recommend this resort to other young families for a summer vacation. This vacation was WAY better than camping. Sell your trailer and find spots like this. It is well worth it!"

  • Comfy, clean house. Roberts Bay is beautiful

"We really enjoyed the stay and loved Roberts Bay. The bird wildlife is amazing and we always had a seal to accompany us when we were kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was very comfy, clean and had lots of deck space to escape to. The owner and family were great to deal with and allowed us to use a couple of their kayaks which the kids had lots of fun on."

  • Location, location, location!

"Our adult family of 6 enjoyed a week's stay at this charming, rustic panabode with beautiful views of Montague Harbour. The sun set directly in front of the deck where we enjoyed our dinners each night. It is certainly peaceful and serene. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. The decor is 70's time warp - which is part of the fun (remember cassette tapes?) The owner is very easy to deal with and answers your queries promptly. One minor problem is there is only one shower in the house and it is downstairs (the main living area and two bedrooms are upstairs) - so it was a bit of a scramble to have 6 adults scheduling showers. You are walking distance to the harbour where you can rent a boat, have lunch or rent a kayak. You are also walking distance to the best restaurant on the island (PILGRIMME). We enjoyed the resident heron who was on the dock each afternoon."

  • Excellent Stay

"We just came back from a great stay in Montreal in this delightful spacious apartment. The location cannot be beat - close to metro and bus - so close to Blvd., St. Laurent. The apartment is spacious and very clean with all mod cons and well stocked - excellent closet space in the master bedroom also. We had a very early departure time - so I did not run the dishwasher for fear of disturbing the downstairs neighbours. The neighbourhood is quiet and very secure - and far too close to La Diperie for my waistline!!! We walked to Beautys, Schwartzs, Moishes and shows on St. Laurent for the Comedy Festival. Would definitely stay here again. I think we practically lived on the 55 bus route! Grania Sherr"
