  • Great place to stay in the beautiful Columbia Valley

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Since the weather was a bit chilly, the hot tub was used a lot! We had some of our family stay with us and no one felt crowded because the home has lots of room. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was a nice feature. The pool table was enjoyed by the men & boys. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, etc. & the big family table was a bonus! The loft was a hi-lite for our grandchildren --- they treated it like it was their special domain. On hot days, the air conditioning was great. Cable TV and Wi-Fi were both used extensively and much appreciated. Although the home has had some renovations, it is dated----but still very enjoyable."

  • Great Ski vacation at this Cozy Cabin! :)

"Our group was a party of 8 (4 couples) and we spent 8 days at this cabin for New Years Eve from Dec 26th until Jan 3rd 2016. The property is exactly as described and as you can see it in pictures. Owners are quick to assist with any questions, inquiries or assistance requests. It's a cozy, quiet, comfortable cabin in the woods. Excellent for relaxing, chilling by the electric fireplace, unwind. Amenities are close by. Ski hills were in close proximity as well, a couple of them less then 30 min. away and few more 1-2 hours away. One of the hot springs is only 5 minutes away … very convenient. The cabin has most of the amenities you need. Beds are all comfortable. We would have liked to have access to the laundry washer and dryer, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Please be aware the hot water runs out pretty fast with 8 adults showering at the same time… it takes a bit of scheduling. :) And if you rent it in winter please be aware that the heating system is a bit noisy in the basement bedroom. Overall an excellent cabin recommended for any length of time."

  • Beautiful secluded location

"Everything was great. Very very kid friendly for families needing to get away and relax in a small and quiet community. Loved the table for dining and the views of the lake were great. We definitely got to see some wildlife and we were not far from some really fun towns including Fairmont and Invermere which has a beach and fun Brewery."

  • Family Vacation

"Very neat and rustic log home, nice ambiance in that. Very room, and gave us all we needed to have 3 sections of the family, one on each level, with own bathroom, etc. Overall everything we needed. A few bits of constructive feedback; the rocks all over the counters for décor were a nuisance, makes clean up a pain, neat idea for a magazine shoot but not practical for actual living and using of the space. There was a lot of excess décor, we ended up putting so much away and aside until we cleaned and left an put it back because it was ll just in the way. Also, the picnic table on the deck was a great spot but the plastic tablecloth was in shreds so every time we sat there and everything we put there was covered in bits of plastic tablecloth, should have had a new proper one on it."
