  • Great place, very private and comfortable

"Great place for a few days enjoying Glacier National Park. Only drawback is that it's on the 2nd floor (stairs) which were tiring after hiking all day, but we made our trips from the car count! The place is exactly as the pictures describe it and was very comfortable."

  • Girls' Golf Trip

"Two friends and I stayed in Legends at Tall Pines for 2 nights while playing area golf courses. It was perfect for 3 adult women where we each had our own bedroom for personal space yet could socialize in the common area. It was more fun than staying in a motel room where we would lack either a common area or personal area. The townhouse had features one would see in an owner-occupied vacation property, not a rental. The only negative we found was the twin beds with bouncy mattresses were more suited for children than a mature adult. My friend found the sofa a comfortable substitute for the bouncy beds. This was my first venture committing to lodging on VRBO. Shane made the process extremely easy (& simple) which contributed to our positive experience. Legends at Tall Pines exceeded our expectations and is one we would stay at again."

  • Good Stay at Ferniehouse

"We (two families with a total of 6 kids ages 2 -11) enjoyed our stay at Ferniehouse. The location is convenient for most activites in the Fernie area and the house is nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the inflatable mattress in the loft worked well for a couple of the kids. The hot tub was very popular with our group and we made good use of the patio furniture and firepit. The kids enjoyed the games and books that came with the house. There were a few small maintenance issues with the house (be careful with the deck railing off the front bedroom if you have small children) that we passed along to the owner, who was very receptive to our feedback. A griddle and a mixer would be great additions to the kitchen. Overall, we thought this property was very good value."

  • Spectacular stay in Kaslo

"My wife, two boys and I enjoyed a lovely stay at this great property. The photos show the amazing view but don't hold a candle to standing there and taking it in. Morning, evening and night -- it is breathtaking (the moonrise over the mountains our last night was fantastic). The condo is cozy, comfortable and well-equipped. The boys loved the bunkbed and we loved the comfy master bed! The condo is a pleasant walk or bike to town where we enjoyed the city beach, kayaking and SUP. The town has a great butcher, bakery, liquor store and well-stocked grocery store. Also enjoyed meals at BlueBelle Bistro and Rosewood. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Kaslo River Trail - an easy hike but truly spectacular spots along the banks. A great walk if you have little kids or don't have time for a big hike -- or both! My wife and I have rented quite a few VRBO properties but Blaine and Dale are by far the nicest owners. They were responsive and hospitable , as was Wanda as a local contact. We highly recommend staying at this property and will look to stay again when we get back to the Canadian Kootenays!"
