  • A perfect little cottage to unwind

"Captain's quarter is the perfect place to unwind. I stayed there with my husband and my son as well as my parents who were visiting from Montreal. My parents slept in the bedroom on the main floor, my husband, my son and myself slept in the very comfy king size bed upstairs. The beds are comfy, the atmosphere and deco are bang on, the fireplace is perfect, the location of the cottage is great. Quiet neighbourhood, even though the house is on the road, you don't even notice the odd car drive by. 10 minute walk to a park right on the beach for the kids. From the house you can watch the ferry that comes in from Victoria every few hours. The house is a flight of stairs away from the beach. Nice drive to Ruckle provincial park, the cheese shop, the ale tasting shop, mount Maxwell, the wineries (check winter hours, not open very often), so close to bakery, grocery store. We even had the chance to meet the owner, Razali, and what a nice guy. We even went to visit his amazing art Gallery in Ganges. Beautiful pieces in there. Overall, I would recommend 100% this place to anyone looking to escape the city. You do need to bring an axe or something to make kindling wood. The house comes with tons of wood but no kindling. You need to make yourself. And also bring paper to help start the fire. Otherwise all you have are big pieces of wood to burn. The house also comes with a great set of knives. We usually bring our own as there is nothing worse than cutting with dull knives, but we didnt need to use them. Have fun to the next visitors!!!! Martine (Vancouver, Bc)"

  • Absolutely Perfect!!!!

"We absolutely loved the condo!! Modern, clean, super-comfy beds, terrific wall of windows and balcony, everything we could possibly have needed to feel right at home! Jane was a pleasure to work with! We enjoyed the organic bakery and coffee shop just below and the easy walk to the grocery store. Our family of 5 had tons of space- the kids didn't want to leave! Easy walk into town or rent a bike right there on the corner! Victoria is an absolute charm! Our favorite activity was walking the miles of paths along the coast and hiking the rocky coastline- beautiful weather, fresh air, gorgeous sights! Love how green the area is, recycling a priority everywhere! This is a place we will return and who know- certainly a place we could live one day!!! Thank you for such a lovely stay Jane!!"

  • Spacious, and most comfortable!

"Sandy and Tony are the most gracious of hosts. They have thought of every amenity possible to insure a most wonderful stay in beautiful Sidney. The apt. is in a perfect location to enjoy the town, waterways, and all travel routes. I had the best of times, and my only dilemma is deciding when I might return!😊"

  • Really are best views

"We stayed for the month of May 2016 (and the month of April 2015) and loved this condo. It is in an excellent location and the views really are spectacular. We walked most places including Fishermans Wharf and Beacon Hill Park. The concierge team of Lawrence and Dani were great too. From helping us with bringing our bags from the (safe) underground parking to recommending places to see and eat! We'll be back!"
