  • For a first time experience with VRBO this sets the bar very high.

"This rental property was set up for 1-2 people. The living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom have everything you might need for a delightful stay. It is quiet, clean, comfortable and attractive. The windows give excellent lighting during the day. Communications from the owner were clear and helpful. There are about 15 stairs to climb to this second floor apartment, so it would be a challenge for a handicapped individual. Also I found it initially a little confusing to find in the dark as one address on the VRBO site indicated John Street and the other (correct) McDonald Park Way. I would not hesitate to return if I wanted to stay in the area again."

  • Great stay!

"Lovely rural setting with an amazing yard for camp fires in the evening. The suite was perfectly comfortable and included many special touches like a fruit basket and muffins. Ken was available to provide information about the area. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • All you could wish for and more!

"This beautiful house was all we could wish for and more! Beautiful furnishings and views. Everything was top notch and comfortable. Our family of four stayed here over Christmas and we had a very cozy and relaxing time. Lots of rain but we didn't care as the views are spectacular and we were warm and comfortable inside. Alec was very accommodating to our late arrival and was extremely responsive to our requests. Excellent well-stocked kitchen which was important for cooking Xmas dinner and other meals. We'll be back!"

  • Much needed peace and quiet

"My Husband and I spent five wonderful days here and could not have been more pleased. As others have said Cordelia and John are amazing hosts. When I told Cordelia we were coming in by ferry she offered to pick us up and most days she had great advice on what to see and do and great dining recommendations. We truly enjoyed getting to know them. The cabin was really comfortable and well equipped; the kitchen had everything we needed and we made a few of our meals here because we didn't want to miss any time hanging out on the deck, watching the boats pass, staring at the beautiful view and sunsets. Loved the remodeled bathroom with big tub and super deluxe shower. During our time we enjoyed seeing the raccoons, neighborhood deer, Heron and a seal and/or otter swimming by. The cabin is a great place to stay if you want peace and privacy but would like to be within driving distance to restaurants and other activities. It's not in the thick of things and thats what we loved about it. In addition to all the island has to offer, there are many activities nearby. We found some nice hikes, roadside farms where you can pick up delicious produce and gourmet food products, a great place for cider tasting and a high end french restaurant. We hope to return someday soon"
