  • Perfect for families

"We stayed with our own family of 6 plus 4 extended family members and didn't feel cramped. Really that alone was impressive. The home was very well furnished with plenty of cookware and dishes for large meals. We hardly drove the whole trip with how easy a walk it was to nearby attractions. Very homey feeling with toys and a highchair for little ones. My daughter loved the sun room and roasting marshmellows every night."

  • an oasis...

"Wow. I stumbled across this place relatively late in my planning for a little getaway for my daughters and partner.. it sounded lovely, but really... at this late in the season, why was it available?! We lucked out.. This cottage is lovely. Becci is a gracious host, friendly, helpful and ensuring all was what was expected. We appreciated not only the full kitchen but also her supplying those items that are a pain to pack but don't want to buy a whole new bag of sugar, or tea, or coffee, or spices, or oil.. Freshly made scones were waiting for us, as were fresh flowers from her amazing gardens.. Always friendly and enjoyed talking about her property, the nursery and and answering questions about various plants, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Wandering the property in awe, and finding little hidden gems throughout.. sigh.. if only we could stay another night. But.. we will be back. thank you Becci!"

  • Paradise Retreat at World Class Lake

"We were blown away with the Warm Lake Experience in this charming little rustic cabin that reminds us what we dream a cottage experience will be like. Early morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up, Hot summer days swimming in the crystal clear and warm fresh water lake, Sunset diners on the Dock, moon light bond fires and fun with family and friends. And Port Albernie was a great surprise. Nice place with lots of amenities. We enjoyed going to Stamp Falls to see the Fish Ladder and also took advantage of a day trip out of Port Albernie boarding the MV Frances Barkley to Bamfield which is a working freighter that travels through the broken islands to all the small towns along the way. Very interesting! Thanks Penny for sharing this wonderful place. It was a dream come true. Tips: Wish we'd rented the two cabins side by side for the additional accommodations. Cabin two is really a one bedroom cabin as the ladder access to the loft is not very convenient. Our guests did enjoy the little outdoor cabin though so all in all it was very enjoyable. Owner was very good to deal with."
