  • Home away from home.

"My friend and I had the pleasure of renting this property while we attended Windsong College from Septemeber to mid-December. It was the best decision we made! Coming home to the peaceful energy of the place after a long day helped keep us grounded and re-charged our batteries! September was gorgeous and we spent every evening on the dock. Fall brought a change in weather and we eagerly opened the curtains every morning to see what the lake had in store for us! Plus...the resident Beaver usually swam by at around 8:15! Patti and Keith are great, helpful hosts. Communication was always prompt! The living room, with its huge picture windows and close proximity to the lake was our favorite place in the house. The shower was a close second! We both have a LOT of hair on our heads and that shower-head was the bomb! Amazing!! We look forward to returning annually and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great get-away!! Thanks for entrusting your perfect "home away from home" to is for so long! We'll be back!"

  • Quaint cabin on a beautiful lake

"We stayed at the cabin from July 1 - 8, 2016. We truly enjoyed our stay. It's exactly as it's described...bachelor style one room with a great view of the lake. We had our own private deck and dock and use of kayaks. The lounger on the dock was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine when viewing the sunset. A couple of minor mentions for those interested in renting: 1. There is no power outlet at the bathroom sink for curling irons, blow dryers or electric shavers. 2. There's not storage space for your clothes but if you are able to live out of a suitcase, there's enough space to house 2 large suitcases on the floor. 3. The cooking pan needs replacing as it's warped. Otherwise, the kitchen is well appointed and the BBQ works great. We even used the oven to cook pizza one night and it was great...oh, there's no pizza pan or cookie sheets so we had to improvise. 4. Their dogs like to come and visit so if you don't like dogs or are allergic, you may wish to mention it to Cathy before you arrive. Our hosts were building a new dock on our last day there and it was a bit noisy but it was a rainy day anyway so we were okay with it. There are 2 great restaurants nearby, one right on the same road that you can walk to or kayak. The other is on the far side of the lake and a bit far to kayak to but you can drive there in about 10 minutes. The far one is open year round whereas the closest one is only during the summer months. Great food at both. Blair and Teresa Pope"

  • Happy holidays!

"This was our 3rd year staying with Ann & Arn! We come back because we love feeling like we are coming back home every year. The space has a feeling of total hominess. Everything you need is provided. Stepping outside onto your own private, totally covered patio, into the setting of an English garden makes you feel happy and content. Walking down the lane to the lake brings its own breath of fresh air. The dock is covered making hot sunny days more enjoyable. Everything is pristine and welcoming. Arn and Ann thank you!! See you again next year!"

  • Initial response was terrific

"This is a well maintained home on a spectacular piece of property. We had unusually nice weather so were able to do some canoe exploring. Also took the aluminum rowboat out which was fun. Wish I had my fishing rod. House had everything we could possibly wish for, including a brand new BBQ (we were first users - rack still had factory plastic on it), and great WIFI and cable service. Found that the WIFI even worked down on the dock. Pool table a nice touch, and a well equipped workshop downstairs which loaned me the tools to repair a problem on our bicycles. Overall a great early Spring break. Thank you! Peter"
