  • Perfect Location in Town - Breathtaking View - Good for Infants

"We (myself, my husband and our 10-month old son) had a wonderful time staying in Maddy's condo! As seen in the photos, the condo is beautiful and the space is amazing. It worked out perfectly with the downstairs room for Max (it's a very small bedroom with no windows, and we used the pack 'n' play for him to sleep in that is with the unit) and upstairs for us. We loved the view out the full windows. There were no issues with noise. The rain suits (Helly Hansen) are fantastic. I believe they are Women's Medium and Men's Large, with Women's Size 8 Boots and Men's Size 10/11 Boots. We used them to go out to Chesterman Beach (we had brought our own for our son, although Maddy does have rain coats for smaller children) on a very rainy day, and it was super fun. The kitchen space was great - we loved the Nespresso as it was a true comfort of home - but we didn't end up doing any cooking since the restaurants were so great. We loved dining at The Schooner, Sobo (the owner/chef even took our son with her for awhile to play outside and see the kitchen while we were finishing our meals!) and The Sea Shanty. All extremely kid-friendly and were willing to cook up fresh salmon meals for our son. We walked a lot for coffee (Rhino was a favorite) and did a lot of hikes, with our favorite being Schooner Cove. Overall, the condo was perfect. We have already recommended it to a handful of friends and would definitely look to rent it again the next time we come to town."

  • Nice home base for beautiful Tofino and the Pacific Rim Park

"My extended family of 4 adults and 17, 18, and 21 year olds stayed here for 6 days. The house was clean and well equipped, and very comfortable for 6 people. My nephew slept in the living room. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom are quite nice and spacious. We loved the hot tub, and there were beautiful old growth trees surrounding the house that made for a magical setting. The short walk down to the edge of the mud flats could be better maintained, the benches at the fire pit are old and wobbly, and the waterfront was overgrown. (With a little more care, it would be a beautiful place to sit and have coffee.). The house is located a few minutes from Tofino and from the Pacific Rim park, it was very convenient to both. Only a 5 to 10 minute walk to beautiful Chesterman Beach was a plus! Overall a nice place to enjoy a piece of paradise!"

  • Awesome Vacation Home!

"We had such a great time staying at this house in Tofino. Our family of 7 (us, 3 kids and 2 grandparents) felt like we had so much space. The layout is perfect with the bedrooms on the opposite end of the house as the family room. We could put our youngest child to bed and let the older ones stay up playing pool in the games room. It's the perfect location - close enough to bike into town or to the beach. You can even take a 20min walk to get the best fish tacos at the Tacofino food truck. The kitchen had everything we could possible need (even a pot for our crab dinner). Thanks so much!"

  • great design, wonderful location

"We stayed at this incredible house for 7 (not enough) days. We had 3 generations, a couple dogs, some mobility issues, and a love for cooking. This house is WAY better than the listing makes it appear. We build houses for a living and this one is incredibly well designed and built. There is a lot of get away space within the house. private places to curl up with a book (not that we did much of that) and the covered entry's and deck would provide functional outdoor space even in Tofino's wet months. We would and will rent this house again. The proximity to the beach as well as the little plaza just down the road is perfect. On the busy months you don't even need to go into town, but you could rent bikes just up the street...and have an amazing fish taco....and then bike into town. Total perfection."
