  • Perfect lake house!

"Wow! What a great place! The house is spacious and bigger than the pictures show. Everything you could need (and more) is there. Richard is a fantastic host--from fielding all my questions, booking, and showing us around--a great great host! What can I say about the lake and allll the amenities available?? Amazing! The lake was the most perfect temperature to swim in. All of the lake toys and taki tiki bar were incredible. But the piece de resistance?? The princess barge--hours and hours and hours of enjoyment!! So fun was the barge that we hardly partook in any of the other fun things to do at the lake house. Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing home. We can't wait to be back! Lucky for us, that happens in just over a week ;)"

  • Jemna's home was just perfect for our family time in Victoria. it was comfortable & a great location

"The James Bay home is about 1/2 block off of the sweeping views of the ocean on Dallas Rd. The Thrifty's and Starbucks were also about a 5 minute walk. We had 2 infants, a toddler, 2 moms and grandma so we had a lot of stuff. The house afforded us all a bedroom, a washroom and laundry facility so it was really super. Because of the kids, we mostly prepared our own food which was easy in such a well stocked kitchen. The backyard is nicely set up with a dining table, BBQ and is well manicured. Jemna was really helpful too. Great location, close to everything & surrounded by beauty. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Thank you Jemna!"

  • Beautiful!!

"We loved staying at this beautiful house. We spent a good portion of our stay looking out the windows with binoculars. You can watch the tide go in and out, fish jumping, many different kinds of birds.. Etc. Even though you have a neighbor right next door (shared walls) you can not see anyone! The weather didn't cooperate too much so we didn't get to spend any time outside, but the deck was set up very nicely. There wasn't anything we wished we had while staying here.. Everything was provided included a play pen for our daughter. The play pen was frustrating to set up (old, maybe?) but once we got it it was fine. It wasn't too baby friendly if you have a crawling or walking baby- there are no gates for the stairs and some of the furniture wasn't ideal (metal legs). But we managed and our daughter came out with no injuries! The bed was comfy and had a great view! It was clean and well kept... You may have to squish a few spiders though (which should be expected with a location like this). It was a few minute drive into Ucluelet and about a 20 minute drive to Tofino. It was nice to be away from any towns.. It was very peaceful. We would definitely stay again!"

  • Excellent location and accomodation!

"Our 3 night stay was more than comfortable, with 4 adults and 2 children. The house was immaculate, with a well stocked kitchen, including a crock pot and great selection of wine glasses. This home is spacious and inviting, within walking distance to stores. I would recommend Bowser Beach House without hesitation."
