  • Charming location in central area

"My husband, (not-quite-2-year-old) daughter, and I stayed for 6 nights and had a fantastic time! Jane was a superb host, who made sure we had everything we needed and suggested plenty of things to do. The property is just across a little walking bridge to a beautiful park (complete with a really fun playground, and swings that even the adults can enjoy), and feels remote, though it is only a 10-15 minute drive from the heart of the city, or a short walk to nearby stores. It was the perfect spot for us and our little one, but would be equally ideal for a couple, family with two kids, or a small group of adults. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope that when we come back to Victoria she isn't already booked!"

  • Will definitely be back!

"Absolutely gorgeous! This condo had everything we needed to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Full Amenities, including Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer /dryer in unit, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ made for a very happy and confortable stay. The building has a great security system and we were very pleased to have the underground parking for our vehicle. The owners were very helpful and prompt at replying to all requests and inquiries. Highly recommend this condo."

  • Comfort, Convenience, Cleanliness in Central Victoria with short walk to The Empress!

"My husband and I were looking for a romantic Victoria getaway and we are so pleased that we found the loft. Cleanliness and a great sleep are both paramount to us and it was obvious that this owner really cares. The linens, sheets and amenities are of the highest quality and there were little designer touches and art everywhere. The bed was super comfortable and I was particularly pleased with the great water pressure in the shower. The wifi connection was fabulous, and the designer couch in the sitting room was so comfy that a couple of nights we just lounged and stayed in. We rented bikes for our stay, but if you have a rental car, a car parking stall is included (not easy to find this in central Victoria!). The ceiling to floor windows open on to historical Waddington Alley which is foot traffic only, so you thankfully miss out on traffic noise. I really wanted to find a location near The Empress Hotel and this did not disappoint as it was a very short walk away. You enter through a locked gate in to a private courtyard where you can lock up your rental bikes and then you enter another locked door to the elevator which takes you up to The Loft. We spent quite a few sunsets sipping our wine and watching the boats entering the harbor on the private roof terrace just one floor up. We highly recommend this little Victoria gem. Book early though! If you are lucky enough to stay, try two of our favorite restaurants right in Waddington Alley around the corner: Terrazzo (phenomenal, romantic and super popular among the locals. You will need a booking) and Willie's for the best breakfast ever!"

  • Peaceful stay

"We just spent 6 1/2 weeks at this property on Langford Lake. It was a great place to unwind, the views are stunning and we really enjoyed the trail around the lake which provided us and our dog with some exercise every day. It was not too far from Victoria and Langford has most of the amenities that you need. We also enjoyed driving up island to Mill Bay and Duncan to visit friends. The inner harbour is a wonderful place to walk and watch the float planes and water taxis arrive and Red Fish Blue Fish was a favourite of ours for a casual lunch while in Victoria. Wild Mountain in Sooke is highly recommended for dinner and Il Terrazzo is always good. Thanks to Roy and Val for everything, although we didn't get a chance to meet in person. Laurie and Dan Nowak"
