  • Great Value!

"The location worked out very well for our golfing vacation. My golf buddies and I booked this condo for our annual tournament. Well run from the initial contact with the owners to the greeting when we arrived. There were plenty of beds to accommodate our group comfortably and plenty of information material and books on nearby restaurants, main attractions. This condo has a well-equipped kitchen with all utensils and spices you need. The location was perfect. This condo is a great value."

  • Heaven on the West coast of Vancouver Island

"Look at the pictures, they are worth a thousand words. Peaceful, serene and perfect for two couples traveling together. Would definitely lease the property again if we are ever in this part of Vancouver Island again. Ecluelet has some amazing eateries, explore and ask the locals. The Pacific Rim National Park is a treasure and takes a week to explore at a leisurely pace. Start at the visitor center in the park, informative and the nature talks by park service personnel are educational and fun. Although not advertised as being available (kayaks, canoe or bikes) if you are an avid kayaker, biker or surfer (as were are) and enjoy being on the water, the inlet is worth exploring. This property would be absolutely heaven if some of the mentioned additional amenities (kayak, canoe or bikes) would be available for guests. Wife worked fine. I did have to call Peter for the password and he was quick to respond. We loved the home!"

"If there ever were a perfect house in a perfect location, it is this one. We had the privilege of staying in this beautiful retreat for three nights (wish it were much much longer)! Our family of four traveled to this magical place with my parents. It slept six of us very comfortably with a whole bedroom to spare. After making your way down the steep driveway (take it very slow), the house is entered into on the floor of the three bedrooms. From there you can decide to walk upstairs to the upper room with a tv, a couch, a desk and chair, two beds (a single bed and a double bed) and a door to the lovely upper deck. This area of the house is very high up with beautiful panoramic views of the sea below. It is positively stunning. My children slept up there because this hideaway room had a tree house like feel, and they enjoyed it very much. On the entry level are three bedrooms- a light green master with a comfy queen bed, walk in closet, amazing views and attached bathroom with an old fashioned soaker tub, a lilac room with a queen and stunning views, and a smaller yellow room with two oversized single beds (perfect for kids). The lilac and yellow bedrooms share a nice full hallway bathroom. The downstairs (and the most amazing part of the house) is absolutely stunning. There is a bathroom, dining area and living room area to the left of the stairs, and to the right is the fabulous kitchen and the most amazing family room sitting area with huge windows and absolutely beautiful views of the surrounding trees and sea below. This area is by far the best part of the house, and our jaws dropped when we first saw it. Absolutely magical! From the amazing indoor sitting area, you can go outside to a very nice deck under the trees with several chairs and a table. And from there you can walk down a lovely pathway of stairs to the sea below. There are a lot of stairs but a few places along the way you can stop and sit. If you keep walking, you eventually make your way down to the calm ocean below. My children LOVED the outside and were down by the ocean most of the time scoping out small and large crabs, fish and purple, orange and brown sea stars. This is a very tall Victorian style home literally built into a cliff. One could easily spend a week/two just relaxing at this fantastic place. I pride myself on finding it as it was an absolute gold mine as far as what the house offers for the price. If you go to Victoria, do NOT miss staying at this fabulous house!"

  • Way Cool House

"My wife booked this lovely house over the Christmas holidays, we have a daughter going to University of Victoria...we thought it would be a great treat, to all be together over the Christmas holidays...wow, is all I can say! The house is so unique and funky. I loved cooking in the kitchen, which is pretty well all glass, which over looks a grove of Gary Oak trees..it was extremely peaceful. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, with good quality pots and pans.... We played lots of games in the evening, in the very large living room...lots of room to play charades, we also enjoyed tennis matches on on Wi. I am not big on saunas but my wife and daughter had an infared sauna every night before bed and then started there mornings outside in the hot tub We spend lots of days hiking around Thetis lake which was only about 5 min away....wonderful trails if you like hiking. We were only about 15 min to downtown, but seemed like we were so much further as the house was so peaceful We would certainly recommend it"
