  • WOW, fantastic vacation home!

"I was with seven ladies that enjoyed this remarkable home on Christina Lake. Communications with Tim before our rental date were easy and direct. The home was more than we expected, clean and well-maintained - a few light bulbs missing. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities and then some. Casserole dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils, wine/cocktail glasses and a nice selection of basic spices. Bring your condiments, coffee, oils etc. We throughly enjoyed the deck areas which had several tables and comfy seats. We used the lounge chairs on the dock to enjoy the afternoon sun. The weather was above normal for mid September. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was above standard. The views from every room are to die for. We received a warm welcome from Trudy who was very helpful making suggestions for our hiking and golf events. Some of us went to a great par 3 golf course while 3 of the "golfers" golfed the 18 hole course next door. All in all we had a tremendous time at TwinFirs. P.S. We ate at the little Italian restaurant (Il Lago) at the corner of West Lake Dr. and the the Hwy. The homemade meatballs are superb and we enjoyed a great prawn fettuccini. Very homey cafe style. • Wow. What a place!

"This place blew my expectations out the water. And my expectations were high to begin with, but still blown out the water!! We always stay ski in ski out. But this was ridiculous. 3 steps and you are on the piste and skiing down to the lift. Probably could have made it in a single leap if feeling more enthusiastic and not weighed down by snowboard gear. I looked, and I can not see how there is a better position than this in Red. It was great. Then inside..... wow. All really nice high quality stuff. Frankly it was too good to be a rental. It was great and again well above my expectations. This brand new building with 3 apartments in it has got to now be the place to stay in Red. It was awesome! It could not have been better, and Richard the host was super responsive to emails, and could not have done more to improve the experience. Red is great fun as well. Definitely worth the trip. And this place is awesome. If I am lucky enough to get to Red from the UK again, my next road trip will definitely include Red. The combination of the mountain, apartment and people made this the highlight of our snowboard resort road trip!"

  • great week away in a great little place

"We stayed for a week, 2 adults, 2 young teens and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 3 bedrooms was perfect for our family and provided lots of space for us. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The front yard was a great space for the kids, and the fire pit and firewood (provided) was a huge bonus. We enjoyed a quiet fire nearly every night after a walk to the ice cream shop. The house was also very close to the public beach. Will stay here again!"
