  • Amazing! Beautiful location.

"I had an absolutely fabulous time here! We stayed June 5-9th and it was lovely because the area was so quiet and even though the cottages are so close together you hardly noticed. The cottage was adorable, beautifully decorated. It got hot at times but there were several fans inside that helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again! Unfortunately there was a boil water advisory and the (only) road to Kelowna was closed at certain times of the day, which I wish I had known (but that is certainly no fault of this location/listing)"

  • Wonderful Beach House

"Being on the lake was spectacular especially for the grand kids, the sandy beach and shallow water made their day. We loved the view and it was easy to get to shopping and our wedding venue. I would recommend this rental to anyone, all the comforts of home. Owners are very nice and responded to all our questions right away. Our family will be back."

  • Awesome home!!

"We just got back from 5 nights at this property. We travelled with a 14 year old and a 10 year old. This house was perfect! Spectacular view!! In the evening u can sit outside and see the whole city lit up! The house had everything we could possibly need. So much space, which was so awesome after travelling such a long distance. Everyone could have their own space to chill out at the end of the day. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed- dishes, coffee maker, espresso maker, spices, wine glasses, You name it! Comfy beds, more than enough bedding, cozy tv room, washer and dryer (which really came in handy) gorgeous master bedroom! This was the first time we stayed in a vrbo property, and I really wasn't sure what to expect, being that the owners live upstairs in this property, and we do like our privacy, but I had nothing to worry about. We had our own yard, bbq, entrance. Caroline and her children were there to greet us when we got there and she showed us around, but other than that we truly had the space to ourselves. But she always ensured us they were only a phone call away if we needed them. Caroline also provided us with a lot of great ideas on things to do in the area, which was super helpful. This place was truly a gem, and I can't wait to return! It beat staying in a hotel by a long shot!"

  • A wonderful home away from home.

"What a wonderful surprise, this house has it all! Our family group comprised seven adults and one four month old baby, due to the house's spaciousness and tiered design our individual family groups could have privacy and still have shared spaces to come together to enjoy extended family times. The balconies look over Lake Okanagan giving spectacular views, they hosted some very interesting conversations over a beverage or two as well as offering a sanctuary for a new mum and dad and still be able to hear baby while she slept. The view is also spied from the dining room which is large enough to cater for larger groups. The kitchen was a cooks dream, It is well appointed, we found everything we needed to make some scrumptious meals. Brian and Kathy's preparation of the house means it's a great vacation rental, we found it fully stocked with anything and everything we could imagine we needed and more. Coming to a holiday rental that was so well stocked with everyday needs right down to kitchen towelling, hand soap and laundry washing liquids, for us Aussies (3 of the adults of the group) was a huge surprise, we would normally need to supply our own at home. Upon entering the garage we found a treasure trove of goodies, everything one could wish for to make your lake visit complete, beach toys, umbrellas, water toys, water guns, chairs you name it, it was in there, right down to well maintained bicycles to take a tour of the local area (make sure you are fit, those hills are amazing). The surrounding area is host to various orchards where you can purchase fruit directly from the growers and wineries, coffee shop and how can we forget the lake? Vernon and Kelowna are a short drive away and is home to quaint shops and some of the best London fog's I have tasted. The Hot tub, Fire Pit and outdoor area was spectacular there is no words that can adequately discribe it, surrounded by trees yet seeing the lake gave you amazing views no matter where you sat on the lower level of the outside decks. Again everything you could wish for was there, chair pads, fire wood netted gazebo and outdoor dining furniture. This property has it all, I hope if I ever get the chance to visit Canada again that we have the opportunity to visit the area again, we have the chance to relax in this beautiful home."
