  • Fantastic Retreat with Stellar Views

"Not too much I can say that has not already been said. This is my 5th year in a row staying in the Penticton area and this place has been my favorite. Yes it is a bit of a trek up the hill to get to, but there is no other way to get such an unbelievable view! We loved the seclusion of it and really felt the location to be perfect for our needs. Alix is wonderful to deal with and the amenities were all as advertised - clean, modern, and private."

  • Great for Families!!

"It was our first time at Silver Star and we had a fantastic time thanks in large part to this place. What a great ski in/ski out location. Step out on the deck, walk past the awesome hot tub, put on your skis and you're away. Our kids loved the murphy beds (and the pool table) and the master bedroom was great for us. The owner was super friendly and the booking process was easy. Highly recommended."

  • Relaxing Holiday!

"We really enjoyed a week of relaxation here at Peachy House. The suite is spacious and very clean, the bed is very comfortable as is the large sectional by the big picture window that overlooks the lake. The deck is huge and panoramic. We enjoyed making many a meal on BBQ while sipping local wines. It is a short drive to many other areas be it Kelowna, Summerland etc.. It is a good value and we look forward to returning again a seeing the gardens evolve."

  • Best 40th Birthday Bash Ever!

"A group of friends stayed at Blueberry for my friends 40th Birthday. In total, there were probably around 25 people including kids. The birthday boy and immediate family stayed in the main cabin which worked out perfectly. We also used this cabin as the main cooking area and to enjoy the amazing views at Blueberry. We took all, but one, of the public camping spots right on the beach and a few people brought motorhomes. There is no where to service the motorhomes so they didn't get power, but they were mainly used to sleep in. We spent most of our days down at the beach which is boat access only (unless you stay at Blueberry!) so it is very private. The water was the perfect temperature, our kids basically lived in the lake. We brought a canoe and a paddle board and enjoyed them on the lake. One day we rented a boat in town which was a 20-30min drive away and then just docked it on the beach all day when we weren't using it. We hiked to the local waterfall which was a super easy hike and very beautiful. My 5 year old and 3 year old twins had no problem doing the loop. I think it took about 1.5 hours with stops along the way to see the falls. I didn't notice any mosquitos at this time of year. Steve, the owner is super accommodating and really wants his guests to have the most memorable time. A lot of the people we went up with were into jamming so there were a lot of instruments around. One night it happened to rain, so Steve cleared out part of his massive garage and set up a stage and brought down a generator. This is were we spent most of our evenings! There is a town about 15 min drive away if you need any supplies or ice. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, that is breathtakingly beautiful, quite and relaxing, then this rental is for you!!"
