  • Fabulous place, location & owner!

"My husband and I just spent five nights at the Skye condo and had a wonderful time. The condo is on the 16th floor and is fabulous - exactly as shown in the photos, beautiful, comfortable, very well equipped, with incredible views of the lake and the city lights at night from the floor to ceiling windows. The building is secure, nicely decorated and maintained, and the underground parking was great. There is a very nice owners' lounge, the Cascade Club, in a separate building with billiards tables, an outdoor swimming pool (closed for the season), two outdoor hot tubs and a large bbq area. The location is great as you are close to the lake, downtown and restaurants (check out the Cactus Club at the Yacht Club for a fabulous dinner!) for walking and are not far from the Highway 97 access for driving. Be sure to check out the bird sanctuary right across the street behind the Lagoons condo building - it was a nice little surprise find. Erika was the best to deal with; she was very helpful and quick to respond; and had a well-prepared binder of info in the condo as well as several tourism and dining booklets. We would absolutely rent this place again and will recommend it to family and friends."

  • Perfect place to unwind and relax in luxury!

"Rented the house for a mini honeymoon whilst still having family and friends visiting from England, wanting somewhere to unwind from the pre-wedding stresses. Arrived expecting to be wowed after seeing all the photos but we were absolutely blown away, believe it or not the photos do not do this house justice. The house is immaculate and set up to perfection, I wouldn't change a thing. The pool is phenomenal, its difficult to pull yourself away from the swim up bar (luckily my old man doesn't like to be in the sun, so we had our own bartender for 3 days!), the view is out of this world. Pretty much all bedrooms have en-suite and all beds are extremely comfortable. Booking was very straight forward, Adam (owner) always responds quickly and Ron (property manager) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The tv/sound system can be a little tricky to get used to but I harassed Ron with a few calls and text messages and he got it working for us. I honestly can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Hill, the only negative I can say is you will not want to leave!"

  • Excellent First VRBO Experience!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the penthouse suite (on the 20th floor) during a recent short family getaway to Kelowna. The spacious three-bedroom unit comfortably accommodated 9 of us (6 adults and 3 children) -- every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a great bonus, especially when travelling with a large group. The view of the lake from the main balcony is the epitome of Kelowna's beauty -- we certainly enjoyed a couple nights on the balcony sipping on wine from local wineries while admiring the breathtaking view. We did make good use of both the indoor and outdoor pools during our short stay. As the Sunset Waterfront is in downtown, it is only a short drive to the internationally-known Mission Hill Family Estate and other family wineries along the wine trail as well as cherry orchards on Teasdale Road. Restaurants, beach, playground and water park are within walking distance of the Sunset Waterfront. Both the kids and adults enjoyed the evening strolls along the beach. Even though our visit to Kelowna was brief, we soaked in the simple life of what Kelowna has to offer as we don't do this often at home due to our hectic lives. Since we are discerning travellers, we have typically booked all of our travel accommodations with reputable hotel chains and resorts. We had always been skeptical with booking accommodations through VRBO, Airbnb and the like due to scandals reported by the media or experienced by folks not doing the proper research (i.e. travellers showing up to a ramshackle place or the home owner did not exist). This was our first VRBO experience and we must admit that with some skepticism in the beginning, the ending turned out to be quite pleasant and amicable between us and Mike, the owner. Mike greeted us at the unit, showed us around the unit and toured the building with us. He even made sure that we had all means necessary to contact him during our stay should any issue come up -- we certainly appreciated his cordial approach. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends and family. Cathy"
