"The condo is nicely decorated and is well equipped for an extended stay. The owners are very friendly and respond quickly to answer any concerns. There are 15 steps up to enter the condo and 15 steps down to get to the bedroom area. This could be a problem for a number of seniors. The condo complex does not have a common room where tenants can gather for coffee or to play cards which makes it more difficult to get to know your neighbours when staying for extended winter months. There is a great view of the lake and the Osoyoos town lights at night. John & Linda"

  • An awesome time had with my family

"We spent the last week of August at Sue's cottage. We spent 8 wonderful days in the sun, swimming at the beach and touring the wineries. The picture are exactly what you get. The house was more than large enough for us (5 adults and 1 dog). Below I will list a few items that might interest people staying at this cottage. 1- The cottage is approx. 12 kms from Osoyoos and Oliver and is remote in terms of places to eat or getting other items. There are plenty of fruit stands on the main highway to grab fruit and a few other items. We knew this going to the cottage and stopped at Costco in Kelowna and stocked up. Spent every night drinking wine and BBQ our own food. It was nice to spend that time with our family. 2- There are plenty of wineries near the cottage. Stop at Platinum Bench and get some of their homemade bread. Maverick Wineries on the highway was one of my favorites. 3- Sonora golf course in Osoyoos has some excellent specials. We paid 35 dollars on the Thursday for unlimited rounds. 4- Use Black Sage Road to get into Oliver from the Cottage, seemed faster than the highway. 5- The TV on the main level does not have a cable box to watch standard TV broadcasting but is a smart TV (No DVD player either). We did watch some Netflix on this TV. The room upstairs does have a TV with a cable box. No TV in the master (fine by me). 6- Their was a inflatable paddleboard in the garage and some inflatables and beach chairs are also available in the screen room. We loved staying at the cottage and will definetly recommend to our friends."

  • Couples Vacation

"We just got home from a couples vacation. Walnut Beach Resort is a wonderful place to stay. My boyfriend and I had stayed in the one bedroom suite on the weekend and seamlessly transferred to the two bedroom on the Monday morning. Fortunately our room was ready early and the staff were very accommodating to the transfer. We had the most wonderful vacation trip. Relaxing by the pool, enjoy the views and taking advantage of the dock space to practice morning and evening yoga. Such hospital and accommodating staff. Overall, an amazing experience, and we all can agree that we would recommend this resort to absolutely everyone we know! Can't wait to return one day in the future!"
