  • Comfortable and roomy

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had to do a little work the first day to sort out things like the igniter on the BBQ (needed a new battery), the vacuum cleaner (totally plugged up) the pool table (suffering from neglect and poor cleaning) but after the humps were crossed this was the perfect place for us. Lots of beds, awesome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Penticton. Stellar jays and Canada jays were enjoying our peanuts, getting scolded by the local squirrels, really was fun. This house isn't updated but that worked for us, made us comfortable and relaxed. The owner was awesome, quick, kind and laid back. This house has quality, albeit aged, but still quality. The Dufferin pool table took a couple of hours to get back into shape (cleaning the plugged brush, cleaning the table, vacuuming the table) but was a nice addition to the home and enjoyed by all. We hiked up to the top of the mountain and got close up with some local wildlife. I was working in the Okanagan Valley and asked about stocking the fridge a day early (family coming from Alberta) and the owner Gerry invited me to do that and even stay if I wanted, thanks Gerry. We would return without hesitation and if you are looking for a summer getaway from the valley then this is the place, cool at night, wonderfully quiet and a great roomy comfortable house. The drive to town took about 25 minutes which was fine considering the cost of accomodation in Penticton. Thanks again for a great stay."

  • Summer getaway

"My family and our friends stayed in this townhouse for a week. It was the perfect home base for us (4 adults, 3 children) and had everything we could ask for. Being on ground level and walking distance to the beach (across the street) and pool (on the property) was perfect with young children who still need a couple naps a day. The home itself was gorgeous. It was much bigger than expected, with plenty of room to hang out, have friends over for dinner, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable and homey, as well as spacious. We spent most of our time on the patio but were grateful for the AC on the hot days! Amazing views, great location, and lovely home. Can't wait to visit again next summer!"

  • Hidden Gem!

"Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at Snowpines. What a lovely place to spend the weekend with close friends! The living room was a cozy place to curl up by the fire and the table was big enough for us to share meals at. We had such great time! Everyone said the beds were really comfy and the blankets very warm. The hot tub was a big hit. The temperature was always perfect and it was the best place to unwind after a day on the hill. The ski in/ski out was of course a bonus. We would love to stay again!"
