  • A Perfect Place for our Annual Getaway

"Eight women stayed at Cellarsbend for three nights on our annual girls getaway. The house was perfect for our group. It is in a beautiful location with a view of the vines and the lake. There were enough beds for everyone and they were very comfortable. We loved the décor and the spaciousness of the place. There were many sitting areas and places to read or chat or listen to music. We loved eating our dinners in the formal dining area and our breakfasts in the kitchen dining area. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We found everything we needed for our elaborate meals. We appreciated having the basic cooking ingredients available, including a variety of spices, oil, etc.. and plastic wrap and baggies. The hot tub was clean and very enjoyable with a spectacular view. We were imagining how great the whole pool area would be during the summer. It was good to have three and a half bathrooms. I understand that an additional bathroom is being built for access from the pool and hot tub area. That will be a great addition. We enjoyed the hiking and the biking that are both so accessible from this location, and of course the wineries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return visit."

  • Wonderful, charming house with perfect lake frontage

"This lovely house was perfect for our family, with it's gorgeous lake frontage, spacious patio with barbecue and a light, bright, airy kitchen. The outside area was so gorgeous and the evenings so warm that we barely spent any time in the living room. The master bedroom was large and airy with a great, spacious en-suite bathroom. The house would easily accommodate 6 as two of the bedrooms have large bunkbeds. The location is excellent being a short drive to downtown Penticton and a few minutes from the marina where boats, tubes and jetskis can be rented. Various Okanagan wineries are also close by including the chic Painted Rock just down the road. We definitely hope to come again and would wholeheartedly recommend it."

  • Beautiful property in the heart of Okanagan lake and wine country

"We had a very nice stay at Villa Orion in early October, to coincide with the Fall Okanagan Wine Festival. It’s a beautiful property on an excellent location, sited on the clay cliffs overlooking Penticton and the lake, and surrounded by a small orchard. The villa is spacious, bright, modern, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained. From this central location it was easy to go into town only a few minutes away for the restaurants and markets, and a great central base from which to visit the many wineries north up the Naramata Bench, or south down the valley. Good attention to safety and security – access to the orchard and house is fenced with automated security gate, and the house has fire extinguishers, fire alarms, etc. Excellent lighting throughout, beautiful bathrooms, high end soaps and toiletries, modern well-equipped kitchen. Sound system with built-in speakers both inside and outside on the deck area. Wood-burning fireplace works very well. Nice high end touches like interesting books, art, crystals, and high end linens including genuine Hudson Bay wool blankets. We did note a couple of minor issues with the sound system and BBQ, and management was very responsive to our suggestions on upgrades to those for future, in keeping with this amazing five star property. On-site property manager/concierge Lori lives in house about 100 yards away within the same orchard property, close at hand if needed, but screened by trees, so Villa Orion is quiet and private. Manager Rein was very prompt and helpful in the booking, and Lori was very friendly and helpful “on the ground”. The information binder on the house and region was very comprehensive. There is also an informative stand-alone web site for Villa Orion with great photos, videos, and other information. We highly recommend this wonderful property, and are already planning future stays!"
