  • Everything you need!

"Our family visited Sicamous and stayed at Grandview Shores. Karen has her rental fully stocked! Beautiful place with pool and hottub. We relaxed by the pool in the evening after an eventful day exploring. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed as a family. I would recommend this place to anyone with a small family or a couple. Lake view from the pool area was beautiful watching the sun set in the evening. Karen was super helpful in answering all of our questions and timely. This place is five star for sure."

  • A Boater's Paradise

"My husband, our daughter, my parents and my brother had a fantastic time in the Shuswap! Ron's description of the place as well as the description for the way to the lake shore was right on the mark. The cabin was very clean and Ron was available to answer any of our questions before, during and after our stay! The damage deposit was return promptly as promised. There was plenty of parking for our truck and boat trailer and it was an added bonus we could use the mooring buoy and dock while we were there. When we weren't boating ourselves, we were able to enjoy the large deck with spectacular views of the Shuswap with the houseboats going in and out of the bay all the while enjoying a drink in the hot tub! We were fortunate enough to see the firework display for Canada Day celebration right from the view of the deck and they were amazing!!"

  • Summer cant come soon enough!

"Never disappointed when we stay at Alpine Village Resort and have done so on a few prior occasions to Mara Lake & area. This particular visit we stayed in the upper suite with 3 bedrooms and massive bathroom including huge jet-soaker tub. AVR located in nice quite cul de sac minute walk to boat dock and beach. The neighbours are friendly and our kids enjoy when their kids are also visiting. Can't wait to be back !"

  • Best 40th Birthday Bash Ever!

"A group of friends stayed at Blueberry for my friends 40th Birthday. In total, there were probably around 25 people including kids. The birthday boy and immediate family stayed in the main cabin which worked out perfectly. We also used this cabin as the main cooking area and to enjoy the amazing views at Blueberry. We took all, but one, of the public camping spots right on the beach and a few people brought motorhomes. There is no where to service the motorhomes so they didn't get power, but they were mainly used to sleep in. We spent most of our days down at the beach which is boat access only (unless you stay at Blueberry!) so it is very private. The water was the perfect temperature, our kids basically lived in the lake. We brought a canoe and a paddle board and enjoyed them on the lake. One day we rented a boat in town which was a 20-30min drive away and then just docked it on the beach all day when we weren't using it. We hiked to the local waterfall which was a super easy hike and very beautiful. My 5 year old and 3 year old twins had no problem doing the loop. I think it took about 1.5 hours with stops along the way to see the falls. I didn't notice any mosquitos at this time of year. Steve, the owner is super accommodating and really wants his guests to have the most memorable time. A lot of the people we went up with were into jamming so there were a lot of instruments around. One night it happened to rain, so Steve cleared out part of his massive garage and set up a stage and brought down a generator. This is were we spent most of our evenings! There is a town about 15 min drive away if you need any supplies or ice. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, that is breathtakingly beautiful, quite and relaxing, then this rental is for you!!"
