  • Great home for large group, wonderful and convenient location

    "My family and I had the pleasure of staying here over Labor Day weekend. The house was spacious and perfect for our group of 8. The location is very convenient to all the major city attractions, yet was nicely situated in a quiet family neighborhood. Chris, the owner, was extremely responsive to questions, and was available to contact in case we needed him (thankfully, we never had to reach out while we were there). This is a lovely home; if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will be sure to stay here!"

  • Beautiful house with a couple of drawbacks

    "Three of us stayed at this beautiful house for a 'girls' weekend away. The location, the gardens and the house itself are all lovely with a view over the water and sunsets that really are spectacular. Everything you need is here and it is easy to drive in to West Van for dinners and shopping, lots of lovely hikes and walks in the area. The beds, particularly the bed in the master suite and the main floor bedroom were very comfortable and all of the linens etc. were beautiful and the master bedroom/suite was spectacular with a bathtub overlooking the water and lots of room. The downsides for us, and perhaps this was because we arrived at night was that when we walked in to the place, it did not feel very warm or inviting. The interior of the house is not what one would expect given the price. There are very few pictures on the walls, some of the rooms have only a few furnishings and overall in the living room/dining areas in particular it just leaves you with less than a warm and cosy feeling. When we got up in the morning and could see the gardens, view and the house in daylight, we better appreciated the beauty of the place. The only other drawback was the number of house rules posted in various places which just seemed a little much. But overall a beautiful place with a couple or drawbacks worth mentioning so others have a better sense of what to expect. Although we visited in the winder, i am sure in the summer the pool would be spectacular."

  • Right by Stanley park and Coal Harbour

    "We arrived here from a luxury rental condo of Vancouver Island. So the unit was felt very small at the beginning. But if you compare a downtown hotel room, price range, location, it is lot better. To get a decent place in heart of Vancouver, with secured parking within this budget is almost impossible. So we are very happy about our stay. The unit is 5~10 min walking distance from Stanley park, English Bay beach, Coal Harbour, grocerry (Safeway), so many different ethnic restaurants. Finding the unit and entering the unit was smooth. Kitchen is small but was enough to cook our full meal. It has dishwasher, laundry, dryer in room. There is bike rental shop very nearby and you can bike to stanley park, coal harbour. The fall color right beside the building was amazing."
