"I don’t even know where to start with recommending this home in Harrison Hot Springs. It is located a few blocks from the lake and the main strip, which ended up offering the perfect balance of fun and serenity. The owners have thought through the set up of this home so well that they seem to have anticipated everything visitors would need to make for a perfect getaway (when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING…. From a salad spinner to a strawberry huller). As usual I forgot to pack towels for the beach and hot tub (don’t even get me started on the giant hot tub) but once there we were thrilled to learn that several extra towels were available for our use. There was also great thought put into little extras for us to enjoy that exceeded our “needs” but were just as appreciated; such as the box of locally sold chocolates that we were greeted with upon arrival… Oh and the adorable coffee cups made by a local potter. We actually sourced the Potter and stopped by to pick some mugs up for ourselves on our way home. The beds were extremely comfortable. The appliances and television were cutting edge and in perfect condition. The home was spotless. The backyard is set up as a peaceful oasis. All I can say is that the owners have gone above and beyond with their Harrison home. Our time there far exceeded our expectations and this is coming from someone who generally only stays in 5 star hotels. I cannot recommend this place enough. This has been our best experience with a VRBO rental to date."

  • beyond expectations

"The cabin is beautifully appointed, positioned perfectly to capture evening rays and Mt. Breckenridge in the distance and affords ample privacy in it's own corner of this well maintained working farm. The owners are gracious and accommodating, providing not only a delicious and nutritious breakfast but great conversation and advice on what to see while in the area. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a peaceful and interesting getaway!"

  • cozy retreat

"We found the cabin very warm and cozy. Loved the eclectic decorating. Some wonderful art and furniture pieces. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped (except we could not locate a corkscrew or veg parer, and the can opener needs replacing). Otherwise, everything one could need and more. The location was good, an easy walk to everything.. On the minus side we had one shower that did not work, we could not get the water to turn off, which caused us worry over filling the septic field. And the first time we used the BBQ we ran out of propane within 5 minutes."
