  • Excellent Home away from Home

"We stayed for 12 days in this place and really enjoyed the space, convenience and comfort. It is well located in a quiet and very accessible part of North Vancouver (we had our car with us which made it extremely convenient). Jeff and Sarra were excellent hosts and we really appreciated their flexibility with our arrival date. Highly recommend this as a "home away from home" in beautiful North Vancouver"

  • Quiet and away from the busyness

"We stayed in the cozy basement suit in Deep Cove for 2 nights. Our suit was very well suited for us. It was clean and private. Because it was a basement suite you could hear noise from upstairs (of course to be expected). But for the low price and great location, for us, it was worth it. We enjoyed snowshoeing up Mt Seymour only a short drive away and also skiing on Grouse Mountain. There was ample parking on the street and a nice walk away from the ocean. The fridge was having some issues, it wasn't working when we arrived, but Cherish and her husband sorted it out quickly for us. It did start working again but quit before we had to leave again. Otherwise everything was very nice."

  • WOW views from Wrap Around Balcony!

"We rented the 2 bedroom studio at Deep Cove between June 4 and June 12, 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. (We actually tried to stay longer, but our flight arrangements would not permit.) The apartment was clean and exactly as portrayed in the photos and in Wayne’s videos. The big WOW was the 5-star view from the balcony! The apartment is well-maintained and equipped, with lots of towels & linens and comfortable beds. The eat-in kitchen has all the kitchen utensils, china and glasses needed. Wifi worked without a hitch. There is a full-sized washer and dryer in the downstairs laundry room. Location is excellent, North Vancouver with its slower pace, beauty and outdoor activities - summer or winter. Parking is not a problem - the 2br studio parking is right in the private driveway. The house is located on a hill at the end of a residential street which makes it very quiet. There is a handy stone stairway down to Deep Cove Park directly at the end of the driveway.. We walked into Deep Cove many times, “sampled” Honey’s Donuts, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Arms Reach Restaurant looking over the cove. We also attended an excellent local play at the Deep Cove Theater and trekked up Quarry Rock – a must do! Wayne, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. He showed us around the home and his lovely garden when we arrived, gave us suggestions for our trip and even took our 21 year old son crab fishing in Deep Cove , which was a huge hit! Wayne twice brought back a large bag of fresh cooked crab for us!! We wholeheartedly recommend renting this vacation home and would return in a heartbeat! Walt & Lorna R"

  • A VERY MEMORABLE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY!

"We spent Christmas week with friends at Eagle's Nest and had a wonderful time! It was close enough to the city to go to the wonderful Museum of Anthropology at UBC and have a fabulous meal at the Teahouse at Stanley Park AND enjoy quiet times by the fire just reading and visiting. We so enjoyed being able to cook and relax at "home," as well as being close enough to some great local restaurants in Deep Cove. The changing views from the windows are beautiful! Thank you Deanna and Paul for a VERY memorable holiday!"
