  • Amazing space. Highly recommended

"The view from this unit is incredible, overlooking downtown with ocean views from the main living space and main bedroom. Very clean unit, with all the amenities needed. Outdoor space is an added bonus with chairs and couch to enjoy the views from the deck. Lastly, Iva and Steve are great owners and are available for any questions in regards to the Vancouver area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet space in Vancouver"

  • Excellent location, clean, well equipped and reasonably priced

"Home is located right off Capilano Road with easy access to the Capilano river, Grouse Mountain, Edgemont Village and the highway. House was clean and very well equipped for our family, everyone had their personal space and good areas for gathering. Driveway is narrow and a bit hidden and getting out onto Capilano Rd a bit of a challenge. Parking enough for 3-4 vehicles but if you want to turn around so you are not backing out onto Capilano Road could be challenging. Snow storm caused power outage the first night we were there for almost 3 hours. Home owner was very responsive even driving all the way up to the house to bring us candles and to make sure we were okay, even offered to move us to another property they had in Horseshoe Bay. We would not hesitate to rent this property again."

  • Really great stay for our family of 5 (three small children)

"This place was really great, especially for the price. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The place was warm and fit most our needs perfectly. My only complaint was that it wasn't very well stocked. There was only enough laundry detergent for one load, one load of dishwasher detergent, and we were only supplied with a partial paper towel roll and one toilet paper roll. None of this was the end of the world but it was definitely inconvenient to have to restock. I'm sure it was just a mistake, but that's the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Great place and would definitely recommend."

  • Beautiful home + gorgeous location = wonderful family reunion

"Three generations of my family, ages 7-79, spent a terrific week here. The house had plenty of room for all of us, and the main level was great for watching the NBA finals, playing games, cooking, and eating together (two tables were combined to seat all 11). We spent a lot of time on the deck and the dock, and the view was beautiful at every time of day. The kids, ages 7-15, loved going to the dock and learning how to trap crabs (with a lot of help from Chris). I think it's important for people considering the property to know that all of the driveways in Deep Cove are steeply inclined, and the driveway is the only way to access the house. My parents are active in their 70s, but the weather was wet the week of our visit and I was worried about them slipping on the steep driveway. We were careful, however, and there were no mishaps at all. The walk to "downtown" Deep Cove is easy and flat, and the town and parks are fun to explore. Access to Vancouver and a trip north along the coast was easy, too. We had great support from the owner before and during our stay. It could not have been a more beautiful, relaxing place for our family to get together! We loved it and truly didn't want to leave."
