  • Excellent Easter Weekend!

"We had a wonderful stay at Cross Tree Cottage. The cottage itself is cute and cozy and is situated in such a beautiful spot with amazing views. We lucked out with the weather and ate each meal outside on the patio, enjoying some much needed sunshine. The hot tub also made the stay - it was so wonderful to enjoy it while also taking in the sunsets. It was clean and well maintained. The fire pit down on the beach is a nice addition as were the "happy hour seals" who would swim by and say hello each evening. The cottage is clean, has excellent water, a comfy bed (only slept in the one), nice towels, and everything you need in the kitchen. Communication with Todd was easy and everything was exactly where he said it would be. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a tranquil get-away with amazing views and lots of privacy. If you're coming from Horseshoe Bay and want to stock up on tasty treats for your stay, check out the new Gibsons Public Market near the Gibsons Marina. They have a fabulous fish market, bakery, cheese shop, local produce, etc."

  • Beautiful view, large space, clean, stocked with games!

"10 of us went to stay here for our annual best pals new year's weekend, and we were not disappointed! The rooms were large, we had a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset. Eagles soared around the trees in front of the huge windows. They have Bluetooth speakers so we played music from our phones and laptops. There were 2 kitchens so everyone had space to make their portion of the family Turkey dinner. We were just a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 10 minute drive from Sechelt."

  • A lovely, quiet getaway

"My two boys (age 8 and 10) and I stayed at this cottage for several days over spring break. My youngest liked the loft and slept soundly under the rain pitter-patting on the skylights, and my older son and I stayed in the downstairs bedrooms. The decor is tasteful and up-to-date. Everything we needed, kitchen or living-wise was provided. Location is great -- a short drive to Sechelt, where we enjoyed two-dollar swims at the Aquatic Centre and souvenir shopping in the thrift stores. We drove up to Skookumchuk Narrows to hike, spent the morning in Gibsons Landing and had lunch at Molly's Reach. Despite the typical West Coast damp, we enjoyed our short visit to Annaway Cottage...over the course of the four days we spent there, it felt like home."
