  • Comfortable and convenient

"We had a great stay! The house was set up well for our family of four, plus another couple. The cottage is clean, well-stocked, close to hiking and beaches etc. We'd definitely stay here again."

  • Lovely cottage, well equipped, steps from Tuwanek Park

"Our group of five stayed here for four days in late August 2016. The cottage was spotlessly clean and has a nice large open living room, dining room, kitchen area. The kitchen is well appointed and I particularly enjoyed the wooden island/breakfast counter. There were all the cooking pans, casseroles, and bowls necessary and basic spices and coffee filters were there. Enquire ahead of time because the inventory of non-perishables (spices, oils etc,) depends on what was left after the previous guests. The beds were very comfortable. The front and back decks provide sitting and eating areas. The BBQ was good and brand new. Local activities we enjoyed were: swimming off Tuwanek Park (water was nice & warm), kayak rental from Peddles and Paddles, hiking in Hidden Grove, biking btw Tillicum Bay and Sechelt, hiking at Smugglers Cove. This is a great base for enjoying the Sunshine Coast."

  • Just loved the peace and quiet.

"The beach is beautiful, watched the seals and birds in the morning, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The house is clean and well equipped for relaxation. We had a great week, it even began to feel like home. We will be back for summer."

  • A writer's dream

"I stayed here alone, for a 3-day break from real life. I woke up naturally to the sound of birds singing (when does that ever happen) and spent my time writing, reading, hiking, and getting the head space I'd been craving all summer. Beautiful place and private garden, candles, hammock, electric fire pit, high-end kitchen... everything required for a relaxing and much needed retreat. And then there was Sharon's yoga class within walking distance on Sunday morning. Did that actually happen? I need to go back... just to make sure I didn't dream it."
