  • Perfect Home for our Family Vacation!

"This cottage was a great spot for our family getaway. The location was ideal in that it was close to a beautiful beach (about a 2 minute walk away); the road was quiet; we were surrounded nature; and there was a grocery store a short drive away. We spent a lot of time exploring the nearby beach and doing various hikes along the coast. The home itself was a treat to come back to after enjoying the outdoors. It had everything we needed, with a fully stocked kitchen, high quality linens, comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom and a cozy wood burning stove for the cool spring evenings. The upstairs was one long room with lots of sleeping options, which was perfect for our five kids to hang out in. There was also another bedroom on the main floor. We would definitely stay here again, any time of the year!"

  • Absolute gem!

"We spent two nights at Soles Ora and had a wonderful time. The suite is in a very convenient location, just five minutes from the ferry and another five from Gibson's Landing, but feels very private and the incredible ocean and mountain views make you feel as though you're in a much more remote spot. The suite itself is beautifully clean and well-appointed, with everything you need for your stay and a very comfortable bed. We spent an inordinate amount of time in the hot tub just soaking in the warmth and the views. A completely unexpected treat was the pod of orcas that showed up just before sunset on our second night! Shannon was a wonderful hostess and made everything easy and convenient. Highly recommended."

  • Enchanted little hideaway in an enchanting little village

"The Marigold Studio was simply perfect. My wife and I were looking to get away from the craziness of Christmas, and spend some quiet time together, and the town of Gibsons was the perfect destination... new to us, close enough to get to easily, but far enough to feel like we had "gotten away". Diane's Marigold Studio is exactly that... a perfect little artists' studio, with huge windows overlooking the Gibsons harbour, a hot tub, and the shops and stores a quick ten-minute stroll along the harbourfront. We were a little concerned about coming to a "summer spot" like Gibsons, in the dead of winter, but the people are so nice, and the scenery so lovely, it didn't matter. Rain, clear skies, snow, and overcast... we had it all during our short stay, and it was lovely. The studio itself is well-equipped despite the lack of anything other than a microwave to cook in. The addition of Diane's art adorning the studio made it feel homey, lived-in, and more like staying with friends, rather than a sanitized, boring vacation rental. Diane was easy to work with, responded quickly to communications, and we just couldn't have been happier. The Marigold Studio was everything we hoped it would be, and more."
