    "The apartment was in excellent overall condition. The fixtures/fitting/decor were all of good quality. Fully equipped kitchen. The living area was also fully equipped with internet, two tv's, sound system, phone. Gym, pool, parking. Everything you need. The location is in the best part of Vancouver. Couldn't fault it."

  • Elegant, very clean & comfortable (photos an accurate representation of the interior) Great location

    "We chose this property for our 4 night Vancouver stay for a number of reasons - location, value for money (many other properties seemed to have extra costs in the form of cleaning levies). Very happy with our choice! Finding our own way to the hotel from the airport was straight-forward. The airport train station has very helpful, friendly staff (identified by green coats) positioned to help new arrivals buy tickets and advise on any changes to the local metro line needed to reach your Vancouver destination. Burrard Station is just a couple of blocks from Le Soleil Hotel. From this hotels great location we were able to walk to Canada Place, Sky Tower, Gastown, Chinatown, Vancouver Info Centre (buy tickets from there for the shuttle bus leaving just across the street to the wonderful Capilano Suspension Bridge Park). Within the apartment the large king size bed super comfortable, the large marble-tiled bathroom wonderful (separate shower & bath - the bath has a 2nd shower head). The lack of a full kitchen not a problem for us but should be noted for people who might want to cook (especially if staying for longer than our 4 days). Fridge a good size (no freezer section - again not a problem for us but if you want to store ice-cream or the like - not possible). We discovered a very well stocked IGA supermarket a few blocks from the hotel so were able to buy breakfast items - yogurt, fruit, breakfast bars, etc, to make the morning start easy. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shop very close by. Communication with the owners was direct via email after the original booking with HomeAway and was very prompt and organised. After we arrived in Nth America the Irvings contacted us, verified our details, then forwarded details re picking up the hotel lift access card from the reception desk (very friendly, helpful staff at this hotel) & door code to the apartment - all went exactly as organised. When we realised our plane departure time back to Australia was late evening we emailed the owners to ask if either late checkout was possible or extra day-use rental. Their response was wonderful - late checkout at whatever time suited us! So grateful!! (thank you again Paul & Janice if you read this - the 16 hour flight would have been so much more grueling without the rest we were able to get prior to our departure). No problem for us (but for full disclosure) no hair dryer supplied, outdoor deck area spartan (small table, 2 wire chairs), overlooked by skyscrapers."

  • Second visit. Excellent condo.

    "This was our second stay which should tell you how we feel about the condo and owners. Everything that one would need to have a great vacation was here. The apartment was spotless. It is well located, near transportation and many restaurants. A car is not needed although a space is available. The view from the 10th floor eating area was fantastic. You could not have asked for more if you love to see mountains, water, boats, seaplanes, etc. From the far corner you can even see the cruise ships coming and going. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed."

  • Right by Stanley park and Coal Harbour

    "We arrived here from a luxury rental condo of Vancouver Island. So the unit was felt very small at the beginning. But if you compare a downtown hotel room, price range, location, it is lot better. To get a decent place in heart of Vancouver, with secured parking within this budget is almost impossible. So we are very happy about our stay. The unit is 5~10 min walking distance from Stanley park, English Bay beach, Coal Harbour, grocerry (Safeway), so many different ethnic restaurants. Finding the unit and entering the unit was smooth. Kitchen is small but was enough to cook our full meal. It has dishwasher, laundry, dryer in room. There is bike rental shop very nearby and you can bike to stanley park, coal harbour. The fall color right beside the building was amazing."
