  • Perfect family getaway in a great location!

"Thank you Jamie for sharing your home with us. We all had a great time and felt right at home. Your suite was super cozy with amazing beds, well furnished and we loved the location. The coffee press, tea, spices were much appreciated and full ice cube trays in the freezer upon arrival were a surprise ( it's the small things). Your back yard was a hit, even with our teenagers. We will be back and thank you again."

  • Gorgeous little retreat near the Pacific

"There is enough space for two people, with a fully equipped open- plan kitchen on the upper floor. You can reach the small rooftop terrace over a ladder and enjoy the romantic view of the ocean. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs where you can also find a washing machine and a dryer. Although it is a quiet neighborhood you can easily reach the city. What was most attractive for us was the way down to the beach where we spent whole days going for walks and swimming."

  • Great stay, great location

"My wife and I stayed at this property for 5 days with our 3 kids (9, 6 and 3 years old). House: Rooms were comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was also nice to have a small living room/kitchen area where we could relax after the kids went to sleep. The shared backyard is huge, and my kids loved playing on the trampoline, using the basketball net and playing ping pong. Location: West Point Grey is extremely beautiful, and every day we would go for walks in the area. On 10th avenue (6 blocks away) there were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, parks, etc... We were also able to visit the beaches which were a 10-15 minute walk. We were caught-off guard when the taxi companies in Vancouver refused to pick us up (because there is a 4 passenger limit and we are 5 people). However, we bought day passes for the buses from the Safeway, and took the number 4 bus directly to a lot of the sites (downtown, Granville Island, etc...). The bus stop is right outside the front door - very convenient! Above all, Carolyn and her family were extremely friendly and outgoing. My youngest son really enjoyed playing with their puppy, and my two older kids enjoyed playing badminton and ping pong outside with some of the members of their family as well. They were great hosts! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to other guests with small families (4-5 people) as a great alternative to a hotel room. Thanks Carolyn!"

  • THIS HOME *REALLY* DELIVERS!

"This Lane/Alley home was fantastic. The space is so well designed that you feel every comfort, as if it's your own home. Three full bedrooms and two good sized bathrooms make being in the home as comfortable as ever. Brian and Kelly really thought of everything when designing this home, and it's also very tastefully decorated. The location is also fantastic; close the UBC and easy access to the nearby beaches, shopping and downtown. And as long as there isn't too much of a cloud cover, you wake up to one of the best views in the city. The street is also quiet, so you won't be awoken by noise. IF you're lucky enough to pick dates that Brian and Kelly's place is available, book it immediately because someone else will get it before you!"
