  • This place was wonderful for us to stay there. Not to far from the city, and so quiet and clean....

  • A perfect home base for our little family while visiting Vancouver

"We absolutely loved our time at the Buttercup! A stunning, modern little home, with everything you need & so much more. A really lovely, quiet neighbourhood. My husband & I stayed with our 2 very young children. We really appreciated all the effort they made to ease the stress of traveling with babies, like a security gate for the stairs, the books, bath toys right down to the cute baby towels! Simply fabulous from A to Z."

  • Vancouver Base

"The Kitsilano Garden Suite made the perfect home base for our first visit to Vancouver. We (my parents and myself) stayed for a week while visiting my daughter who moved to Kits in the Spring. We found the listing description to be accurate and it was clean and cozy. It is small but well laid out. You need to like the people you are staying with :) The suite had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the well organized binder for the house and the area. It was really easy to use, the explanations were brief but detailed and simple to follow. Leslie-Ann was great and easy to contact. I really appreciated that she reached out to warn us that three day storms were headed to Vancouver. Without asking, she offered to let us stay for an extra night if our flight was delayed (one less thing to worry about!). I also liked that I didn't need to keep track of a key to get in and out of the house (keypad). The street was quiet and made for nice walking to Jericho Beach. There was an access directly across the road but it was quite steep and the beach was not great for walking, however there was another super close access to the right of the house, with less steep stairs and a nice walking beach (I can't remember the name of the "park" but this was my preferred access. The Garden Suite is a perfect spot to walk to other areas as well, but we didn't try to walk to Granville. I didn't experiment with transit as I had my daughter as our chauffeur, but she assures me it is easy to use. We ate out at a few wonderful places, my favourite being Chi, a new Vietnamese spot, delicious! Fable and the Cactus Club were also great spots. We drove the Sea to Sky highway and went up the gondola in Squamish and hiked around up there. This was a highlight and it was fantastic that they had different levels of hiking available, with a shorter trail for my folks to use. We went on to Whistler from there and had a wonderful day in the sunshine! We also did the Hop On Hop Off bus trip. It was OK but I don't recommend it, especially in the off season. They operate on reduced hours and reduced stops but charge the same price. The dialogue is recorded and difficult to hear. We spent a couple hours at Granville Island and it was great, especially the market. I definitely recommend the Garden Suite and I would stay there again if I was visiting the Kits area. Cheryl"

  • Great facilities and ideal location

"Can't fault the condo. Everything that we could require was there, even down to laundry soap and a few kitchen basics like oil and seasonings. Ana was always prompt with her emails and we look forward to returning the next time we are in Vancouver. Location is ideal for walking to Granville Island for a morning coffee and walk through the market."
