  • A classy, well designed Laneway House in a great location.

"This Laneway House was just perfect for our visit to Vancouver. It is very well located with walkable access to Granville Island and the Sky Train. The house is a fairly new construction that is very well designed with quality materials throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and well stocked with spices and kitchen basics. The bathroom has an excellent and spacious shower. There is a grocery store and a wine shop nearby. We would definitely consider staying here on our next visit to Vancouver."

  • Perfect Vancouver Spot!!

"This was my second trip to Vancouver in less than 2 months. I on occasion will travel for work and will often stay at the Sutton Place Hotel, which is lovely for a few nights. For those of us who work in production, we have known this to be "the spot" to stay when traveling to Vancouver. So when I knew I was coming back for 2 weeks, I knew I wanted an apartment but needed to close to the Sutton. I really wanted to have a great Vancouver experience and have a sense of home and luxuries that a hotel could not provide (washer & dryer, good coffee, actual living space). I could not have been more pleased with my choice to book this lovely one-bedroom apartment. The location was PERFECT. I was within walking distance to many of the great places downtown Vancouver has to offer like; Gastown, Yaletown, Sutton Place, Shops on Robson, and Stanley Park (which is a long walk but a great one). Not to mention it's right next door to my new favorite eatery, Cafe Madena!! Thank you Jennifer and Olivier for the recommendation! I was concerned as a female traveling on my own for work that I may have given up the security that a hotel offers but that was so NOT True! The apartment is located within the long term living building of a small boutique hotel, with friendly door and reception staff and a entry key for the elevators. I actually felt safer here than at my hotel before. The apartment is just perfect for one person or a couple wanting to visit. I wouldn't recommend for a family with kids as it's 650 set and only 1 bedroom. Everything was immaculate and looked like a model apartment. From the bed, linens, shower with rain adjustable shower heads, decor, it really was perfect. Located on the 24th floor, I had a great view looking out towards Stanley Park and while there are other buildings around, you don't feel closed in. I loved having access to a washer & dryer and the Wifi worked fantastic. This was important as I worked from the apartment a lot. Jennifer, Olivier and the team were great, warm, and friendly. I would certainly stay here again, in fact I'm looking forward to it, and would recommend it to others. I think if you need to be in Vancouver, this is a great place, great location, and provides better living than local hotels."

  • Fantastic place to stay!

"The location of the Kits Beach is amazing with Kits beach at one end of the street and the museum and aquarium at the other. It's an easy walk to 4th ave with lots of shopping and a few good consignment stores. The viva fine foods and Nook are awesome and only a short walk from the house. We found it very close to walk to Granville Island and did this several times during our stay. We had no car while in Vancouver so did slot of walking but the public transport on the #2 bus downtown stops just up the road at Cornwall and Cypress. Compass cards are an easy way to get around the whole city via bus, light rail and sea bus. The house itself more than met our expectations with plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. It was great to have a laundry inside and a bath for the kids after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen facilities were great for having a warm breakfast each day. The 3rd washroom at the entrance was handy too. The house is beautifully decorated and it was lovely to see a few of Marta's own artworks in the house. Marta was very accommodating of our needs. She even had the internet fixed while we were there which made it super fast. We left 3 umbrellas at the house as we had a couple of drizzly days and thought it might be useful for the next visitors as well as a Where to Eat in Vancouver guide. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Marta and her beautiful house to groups or families traveling to Van - you will not be disappointed!!!"
