  • Excellent vacation spot and excellent hosts!

"The Tennant's were wonderful hosts, helpful when they were needed and always very courteous and kind. The property is thoroughly enjoyable, an amazing sanctuary away from the City. The surrounding scenery, hikes and beautiful hot tub waiting after a fun day truly made this a fantastic destination. Highly recommended!"

  • Vancouver Mini-Vacation

"We stayed in the apartment for a long weekend. We had difficulties paying and we didn't receive responses to our messages for a few days, but once that was resolved we made it work! We didn't meet with Alison but the apartment was ready for us upon arrival. It looks just like the photos and we were impressed with the large, fully stocked kitchen and the huge shower! The bed was also very comfortable! The apartment isn't located close to downtown but it fit our needs. A few things we noticed during our stay: It looks like the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, there is no air conditioning and few windows which let in a lot of bugs (mosquitoes, bees, and flies), the bathroom sink filled with water quickly, the TV only has a few channels. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay but would recommend some changes to improve the space."

  • Thanks

"The apartment was exactly like the posted photos. It was extremely clean and had all the conveniences of home. The landlady was friendly and accommodating. A photo of the sitting area would be helpful. The price was right. We would stay again on another visit to the Lower Mainland."

  • Wonderful

"Our family (we have two kids), plus two grandparents, spent some time in Steve's cabin this January (2015), and had a truly wonderful time during our stay. Our kids are very young, and they had so much fun exploring the cabin. We found the place easy (directions were clear), and it was well prepared for our visit: everything was very clean and tidy. The cabin is very inviting, cozy, and quite spacious - there was plenty of room for sleep (3 bedrooms) and hang out (downstairs and upstairs). The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked most of our meals. Linen and towels were plentiful and clean. We were lucky to be there during a heavy snowfall, we all loved watching it, and going out with kids to play. The wood stove served us well to warm up after we came back inside. One thing we didn't have time to enjoy was the sauna. The cabin is a short drive to Whistler, we went there a couple of times during our stay, for lunch and to walk around. We didn't go skiing/snowboarding, but, the cabin is a good base for winter activities in Whistler. The cabin is located close to a railroad, but, the trains go by very infrequently (twice a day or so), and they were not annoying (on the contrary, kids liked watching them go by). Our correspondence with Steve was very clear and easy (e-mail, phone). Thanks Steve, we hope to come back and visit your cabin again! Davor and family"
