  • Top Shelf!!

"We had a fantastic stay. It's an oasis nestled in the woods. The cabin offers large bedrooms and a spacious common area on the main floor that easily accomodates large parties. The cabin itself is very clean and well cared for. The amenities surpassed our wants list and kitchen well supplied, whatever we needed, we found in either a cupboard, drawer or pantry. Everyone in our group loved the place and we are all planning to rent it again. You won't be disappointed."

  • Relaxing home-away-from-home

"This lovely, clean home is fully stocked with everything you could ask for in a vacation home. 3 Comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms, washer & dryer, 2 living rooms, air hockey and foosball tables, large kitchen stocked with everything you could think of, gorgeous views of the lake from the large deck. The linens, towels, tableware and furniture are all high quality and in excellent condition. There is only a 60 second walk from the doorstep to the lake where you can spend all day in the warm water. There is a fire pit to warm up by after your evening swim (firewood is provided). You can tell the people who own this home truly love their home and want you to also. We stayed for 3 nights and it wasn't long enough. I highly recommended a hike through Skookumchuk Narrows Provincial park at high tide and the Westcoast Wilderness Lodge - their patio has breathtaking views!"

  • Fantastic place #219!

"My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights for my 2016 Ironman Canada race. What a fantastic place Jacqui has! It is very clean, quiet, convenient location and all the amenities we needed were available. Everything is within walking distance and we didn't have to take our car out anywhere during our stay. I highly recommend this place if you plan on visiting Whistler Village! Big Mahaloz for a great stay!"

  • At the top end of anything available on Homeaway

"We stayed with Daphne and Mike for about 2 months after moving to the Vancouver area to search for a new home. They are one of the friendliest, and best organized owners we've ever encountered, and we've lived in many long-term and short-term rentals around the world. In the past, we've stayed in some "furnished" places that were only barely furnished. This unit, on the other hand, was one of the best equipped places we've seen. We were even treated to a fridge and cupboard stocked with some groceries to get us started -- an amazingly thoughtful touch that was very welcome after our long journey. Be aware that it is a lower level unit, but it is only partially inset, and has large windows that let in a lot of light. They also have soundproof ceiling tiles which made noise from upstairs virtually non-existent. The finishings are all new and modern, and the entire unit was exceptionally clean. The layout is very comfortable and efficient. The neighbourhood is friendly and beautiful, and there are two large parks with great walking trail systems nearby. Highly recommended. Definitely at the top end of anything available on Homeaway, and better than most hotels!"
