  • As good as the 35 years married we were celebrating

"This Penthouse was everything we would have hoped for and more ..... We have traveled a lot of the world and wanted to experience being tourists in our own town. We planned to stay 4 nights and loved it so much, we stayed 5. It started with a warm, friendly greeting with our host and a quick accent to the top, 33rd floor. The view from the top balcony was spectacular .... that view lead you west on Davies to an almost unobstructed view of English Bay. Great access to everything .... Yaletown, False Creek, Granville Island Market, Stanley Park, BC Place, Rogers Arena, shopping ..... We kayaked false creek, rented a jet ski & went to Doc Morgans on Bowen for lunch, walked over to T & T bought live crab & feasted, biked around false creek, friends & family came in for dinner a couple of nights (West Oak & Brix n Mortar were awesome .... The Teahouse, not so much) Excellent accommodation in the Top City in the World. Thank you John & Kelly. We will book this again !"

  • Fantastic Apartment

"We stayed in the apartment for a week at the beginning of February. This was our first visit to Whistler and we chose to stay in the quieter Upper Village. The Upper Village had everything we needed (bars, small shop, liquor store) and it was only a ten minute walk into Whistler Village for the wider choice or bars, restaurants and shops. Being in the apartment was just like being at home. So comfortable, warm and relaxing after a day on the slopes - it had everything we needed. The lifts are very close and it was also great that ski passes could be booked through the Lodge in advance and collected at check-in. We would definitely want to stay in the apartment again if returning to Whistler."

  • Delivered exactly the beach house experience we were looking for

"The beach house was simply perfect and was the cosy home from home feel we were looking for. The home had everything we needed all there to hand, including the absolutely stunning location, wildlife and weather :) would highly recommend to our friends and family for creating future family memories and experiences. • Wonderful Getaway

"My friends and I were looking to get away during Canada Day long weekend somewhere along the sunshine coast. Unfortunately many places were booked up.. luckily I found this listing. I was a little apprehensive to book at first because we had to etransfer the money, but after speaking with Mike he put my mind at ease. He was so easy to get a hold of, would speak to me any time I had any questions via email or by phone. He was always friendly and helpful and gave me all the information I needed to know about the area. The property itself exceeded my expectations. It fit 8 of us adults comfortably with room to spare. We cooked the entire weekend and he had all the kitchenware we needed. There is also a bbq with propane provided. The fire pit by the water was also great to use. The living room looks right out over the water through sliding glass doors. There are two bathrooms, one located conveniently inside, the other bathroom is connected to the property but entry is right outside and is very nicely renovated (overhead rain shower plus handheld shower head). The only thing to keep in mind on your way there is that the road is very windy with sharp turns so if you get motion sick easily (like I did) take some gravol beforehand. I regretfully didn't.... The town itself is small. The people there were very friendly and lovely down by the bathgates resort as well as up in Madeira Park (which is not actually a park, but a town; we learned this the hard way). Sookumchuk trail had a very modern/hipster bakeshop right before the hike. We preordered cinnamon buns there that were the size of my face. There is also another hike (Francis Point Park) that was a beautiful trail. Beautiful views the entire way. Apparently there is a coffee shop at the end of it, however we didnt make it to the end because it began to rain. Anyway, there's a lot more I can say about the area but the important thing is that our stay was wonderful. This property is highly recommended!"
