  • Comfy, clean, serene!

"A wonderful place to stay. Quiet street in a nice neighborhood, yet 2 blocks away are loads of neat little restaurants of all ethnicities, shops, grocery stores. Stanley Park is right at the end of the street. Just a 15-minute walk to Robson Street/downtown, and only a bit further to the Granville Island ferry or the aquarium. Alberto (owner) and Jacob (his assistant) were very responsive and provided helpful info on activities, buses, dining, etc. The loft is up 2 flights of stairs, so may not appeal to anyone who can't manage that, but it suited us perfectly and we'd definitely stay there again!"

  • Excellent apartment and centerally located. Easy to get a places fast.

"What an unexpected pleasure to walk into a lovely, well kept apartment better than its pictures on Homeaway. The views are incredible from every angle and the furnishings are so comfortable. When we arrived we were escorted to the apartment and given a tour of the layout and also told that the apartment was stocked with all the convenience of home other than groceries. I loved the idea of a washer and dryer in the apartment. Since I don't like to travel back home with dirty clothing. For our first time in Vancouver BC the experience has been incredible. The apartment is centrally located in the heart of the city which it made it so easy for us to walk to incredible restaurants and the heart of the shopping district. In fact, just about anywhere in the downtown area from Yaletown, Robson, Gastown and even the business district, you are just a quick walk away. There is an IGA grocery around the corner and a pharmacy right next door, and world-class shopping about a block away. Food in this city is amazing, we loved L'antipasti for romantic, authentic Italian. Rodney's Oyster House in Yaletown was a blast, great food and ambiance, we went twice! Homer St Cafe has fabulous brunch and Pe Se Social Club has great Illy Coffee. Gastown has the Flying Pig, great for Sunday Roast. We loved the Sea to Sky Gondola, worth the cost and time, so beautiful with easy day hikes which are family friendly. Hop on hop off Trolley was a great way to get the lay of the land. Don't miss Stanley Park, Granville Island, the Musuem of Anthropology or the Aquarium they are amazing! Oliver was a gracious host, we were able to come right from the airport and he met us right away and was able accommodate several requests. We will stay here again when we return without a doubt! We highly recommend this property."

  • Amazing Penthouse with great views

"This is by far the nicest place we had the pleasure of staying in. Steve and his assistant, Bernadeth, are so friendly and were simply wonderful to work with. It was unexpected not to have a list of chores which is the norm for VRBO. When you're in a first class, you want to do your best to respect it and leave it in good condition as possible. Another plus about this beautiful penthouse stay was free parking unlike the VRBO in Seattle. Bernadeth was so kind to assist us with the puzzling garage parking since we're not big City people ;). Not that it's a negative but there's no window covering, so if you're sensitive to waking up to daylight you may want to bring an eye patch. Perhaps you wouldn't want to sleep the day away in such a great city. We walked quite a ways to shop but it's doable and great way to see more of the city. Taxi's were easy and inexpensive to take. Even though some of us got motion sickness for being up so high (39th floor)...lol, we LOVED the place and the great views! We would definitely stay here again <3 and highly recommend it. Thank you Steve for the experience!"

  • Our week in Vancouver

"We enjoyed staying at Ken Ha's apartment. It was well cared for and handy to a sky train and Commercial Drive, which has a lot of coffee shops, restaurants, grocery shops and a sky train stop. We would stay here again."
