  • Absolutely ideal place to stay. Such a tidy, gorgeous and conveniently located home in Kitsilano!!!!

"From the first point of contact with Jacinta, the home owner, we felt welcomed and reassured that we would have a super place to stay.! She is very thoughtful and exudes positive energy as does her fabulous townhouse. We were two families looking for a wonderful place to stay in Kitsilano while attending a meaningful family reunion. We were so fortunate to find this home that could fit us all. With a fabulous kitchen and eating area, we had ample space and bedding for all the adults and children. Parking was also very convenient. Her home has such a tasteful mix of modern and traditional decor. It is super tidy and has such a refreshing and warm feel. Though we were out most days, it was a truly comforting feeling to come home to a cosy, efficient and spacious home including the refreshing patios. The location could not have been more convenient with easy access to 4th Ave and MacDonald and with Kitsilano beach such a short walk away. We are grateful we found such an ideal place to stay and would recommend it or return to it in a heartbeat!! Thank you so much Jacinta!!!"

  • A very fine apartment with a view

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed there in December and we had a very good experience. The apartment is exactly like in the photos, it is not large but comfortable even for 4 adults, and the view is spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped and there are also a washing machine and a dryer. The dishwasher could work better though, and is a bit noisy, so we started it before getting out in the morning. No problem with the heating. The location is perfect for visiting downtown, there is a metro station across the street: public transport is very good, so we could easily visit also some of the attractions in the area, like Van Dusen Botanical Garden (a must-see at Christmas time!) and even Capilano (free shuttle at Canada Place). We only found a supermarket a 15 minutes' walk away though (IGA), but maybe there are other options. A movie theater and the Rogers Arena are very close, and so are many good restaurants. Our favourite was Chambars, just across the street. The manager was very helpful at check in, and we also arranged very suitably for check out."

  • Great stay, great location

"My wife and I stayed at this property for 5 days with our 3 kids (9, 6 and 3 years old). House: Rooms were comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was also nice to have a small living room/kitchen area where we could relax after the kids went to sleep. The shared backyard is huge, and my kids loved playing on the trampoline, using the basketball net and playing ping pong. Location: West Point Grey is extremely beautiful, and every day we would go for walks in the area. On 10th avenue (6 blocks away) there were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, parks, etc... We were also able to visit the beaches which were a 10-15 minute walk. We were caught-off guard when the taxi companies in Vancouver refused to pick us up (because there is a 4 passenger limit and we are 5 people). However, we bought day passes for the buses from the Safeway, and took the number 4 bus directly to a lot of the sites (downtown, Granville Island, etc...). The bus stop is right outside the front door - very convenient! Above all, Carolyn and her family were extremely friendly and outgoing. My youngest son really enjoyed playing with their puppy, and my two older kids enjoyed playing badminton and ping pong outside with some of the members of their family as well. They were great hosts! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to other guests with small families (4-5 people) as a great alternative to a hotel room. Thanks Carolyn!"

  • Beautifully Relaxing

"A very quiet and tranquil location with a wonderful view of Trout Lake. Well equipped kitchen and a beautiful claw tub for soaking in after a cold day in the rain. Enjoyed watching all the different colored umbrellas belonging to people walking in the March rain around the park. Excellent restaurants within a 15 minute walk to Commercial Avenue. Enjoyed the gym and sauna at the community center which was a five minute walk away. Already planning my next visit!! RM from Calgary"
